The thing with the current Attorney General of Uganda, Mr Kiryowa Kiwanuka is that he’s very smart, calm and collected. He can sell sand in the desert. By all measures, several sections of this Protection of Sovereignty Bill are atrocious but look how calmly he answers. It’s disarming. As a citizen and business person, there’s several sections I disagree with but I appreciate the honesty with which he answers these questions. This is how democracy should work. Yes, you want the law passed; make your case for why it should be passed. Allow people who disagree to make their case and then incorporate the changes and we move forward as a country.

Uganda airlines Kati, I was upgraded by @UG_Airlines on my London flight yesterday, gave me 3hrs of good sleep and since I had a meeting same day, I wasn’t too tired. I also enjoyed my sweet potato beef meal not long before landing at London Gatwick like you can see in the picture. So I marketed @UG_Airlines and Uganda today too. I read for about 2.30hrs a book by Robin sharma, a great writer I must say being an entrepreneur, his book majorly describes stuff I have experienced as a person. What caught my eyes more is finding out Robin sharma’s dad actually came to Uganda and worked in rural uganda as a doctor and it’s where he met his mother. And that’s on page 40 of the book you see in the photo, he wasn’t comfortable discussing much more about Uganda, it was a short not so good message on that page. I have been thinking about how I can invite him to Uganda so he can see another side of Uganda, a beautiful Uganda. And with his networks, it would market Uganda quite a bit. Going to try and that’s what I have done all my life, trying! The worst he can say is NO.

Mzee Museveni is one of post colonial Africa’s most consequential leaders. I’ve heard this from TPLF ideologues in Mekele and Umkhonto We Sizwe veterans. From speaking to government officials in E Guinea to Ruto insiders in Nairobi. I wish him many years of good health.

The only positions that are ring fenced in the NRM are Mzee’s and Hajji’s. Everyone else is fair game. You’d have thought Becky knew this. She is a star- or moon- feeding off the sun. I commissioned the Wagagai gold mining project in Busia District today, celebrating a significant step towards processing minerals in Uganda. Under my leadership, we will not export unprocessed minerals, as this undermines our economy. Wagagai aims to achieve 99.9% purity in gold processing locally, benefiting Uganda financially and creating over 5,000 jobs once fully operational. I urge other miners to ensure minerals are processed before export. By maximising our natural resources, gold, lithium, tea, iron, etc., we can create jobs and industrialize Uganda. The Wagagai project is expected to generate over $100 million annually for 21 years, and we must leverage these resources for a sustainable future. I congratulate them!

The sales people at Toyota must really love our profligate leaders. While their subjects are consigned to premature deaths in understaffed, understocked, ill equipped hospitals, traditional leaders will have billions spent on them just so they can tour their jigger infested subjects in comfort. That, to go along with UGX 60m a month in “salary”. All this because they won the testicular lottery? How is this okay? Are we still a Republic? #TuliKuki?
