@NUCLRGOLF @TWlegion Step away from it all. Get yourself right first the rest of days.

We made the series Soul Power for moments like this - so we don’t forget our history, so we learn from it, so we respect it.
Reshare this so the world can learn, again, about George “Iceman” Gervin. 🥶🏀
And then go watch Soul Power on Prime!:

@ChiBearsHistory Skip Payless has been run out of every town he’s been to. I guess being a pot stirring jag really isn’t a good career choice.
English

@StegNCheese Is all I know who gives what an athlete does off the field to establish their brand. Truth is if you don’t back it up on the field what happens off the field doesn’t matter. and why are Packer fans so up in arms about another teams QB? CDS is real behind the cheddar curtain!

Reggie white = living legend
Caleb williams = 2nd yr football player
Bad comparison here
Pete@Pete_Martuneac
Packers fans crying about Caleb Williams trademarking his well-earned nickname is deliciously ironic once you realize the best player in their franchise’s history did the same thing. But I get it. I’d be mad too if my team couldn’t beat their rival in a playoff game 💅

George Gervin is an icon in FBA culture for various reason so I’ll NEVER disrespect. I’ll do nothing but honor that man.
If you’re calling him a nobody and an old head you’re ignorant or just young as hell. But some of yall are being downright disrespectful.
I wasn’t raised like that. He’s a big reason why Caleb can be as braggadocios and ultra confident and express his confidence the way he does
I’ll just say this he should’ve trade marked ice man a long time ago.
I will never disrespect the Iceman George Gervin. Some of y’all are tripping

NBA Hall of Famer George Gervin is attempting to stop Bears QB Caleb Williams from trademarking “Iceman”, per @jjones9
“I’ve got nothing but respect for [Williams]. He’s already proved greatness and his potential upside is great. Like an ‘Iceman.’ But that name is taken….All I’m saying is: young fella, we’ve already got one ‘Iceman.’” - via @Suntimes

@BruceIronsNFL We know who he is. Since we’re going back in time you might want to check your NFL Championship totals.

Going into a legal battle with a mf who has been rocking the nickname for half a century because you feel entitled to it after a bunch of fangirls called you it for a season is so hilarious, the only thing that’s more hilarious is the people that think Caleb will win

In their professional careers: Gervin — Williams — 4x Scoring Champ 12x All-Star 1x ASG MVP 9x All-NBA/ABA ABA All-Rookie One is Iceman. One is a guy.
English

@OleTimeHardball Ah yes the one and only “Iceman” , just like Red Grange, Chuck Liddell, Bjorn Borg , Jerry Butler, Albert Collins, Vanilla Ice and Val Kilmer.
English

@RealSkipBayless When do you get run out of X town, like everywhere else you’ve been?

Fine. I'll hoop in my Iceman shirt today then and remind ignorant fools such as yourself. Ice is George. Go Spurs Go.

@bearszn @jjones9 Not a single soul hears the word iceman and thinks of “George Gervin”

@Pariah030524 @BenVerlander No he didn’t build Wrigley Field. The Cubs moved into Weeghman Park when the Federal League folded re-named it Wrigley Field when PK took over controlling interest in the team in the 20’s. Hope that helps, bro.
English

@coldshotblues @BenVerlander The guy who owned the cubs and built the field also owned the Wrigley company bro
