@egi_nupe When the wrong things have been allowed to stay for too long, the wrong things become normal. You’ve been used to this tribal behavior for so long that it has now become a norm. To you, it’s normal behavior but in the real sense, it’s not normal.
English

1. There is nothing wrong in supporting Obi because he’s Igbo. Most of his supporters are Igbo
2. There is nothing wrong in supporting Tinubu because he’s Yoruba. Most of his supporters are Yoruba.
3. There is nothing wrong in supporting Atiku because he’s Hausa/Fulani. Most of his supports are Hausa/Fulani.
All these 3 statements are factual, and independent of one another. They represent the ordinary wish of an average Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa. Let nobody gaslight you with “competence and track record” or “bigotry” bullshit. It’s natural and human. So, if or when any of the above individuals get into office, it’s no brainer that their people will take up the most positions in their government.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@DazylingQueeen What is wrong with him.
What do you think triggered this attitude of his.

How can a grandfather do this to a two years old granddaughter????😳😳😳
He always goes to her school to pick her without the knowledge of the wife and when his wife goes to school she will be told that the grandfather had already took her home ,because shes doing a small business a little far from home, the wife will comfortably sell until evening when she will close,
when she asked the husband the man said he wants to ease her the stress of going to school from her work since he has chance 🤔🤔🤔
This little girl was sent to her grandparents to stay for holidays and they insisted that she stay with them and they even entrolled her in lessons so as they convince the parents to let her stay longer the grandpa had so much love for her and the family thought it was just grandpa and granddaughter love
Until one day the lesson teacher asked her so many questions about her grandpa because she already suspected something, that in this world and time we live in an old man who always wanted this little girl to be around him might be upto something😱
The little girl demonstrated how the man used to do it, She quickly called the attention of the grandmother which they agreed to actually know what is going on if the little girl was lying,he picked her happily and left and after some minute the girl started crying and telling him the pain she’s feeling, this was when they forced open the door and caught him redheaded 😭😭😭😭😭😭
The family never suspected or expected that a man of 60 will go this low with a little girl of 2 years not to talk of his own granddaughter
For those of you always sending your girl children to holidays this is a lesson
The children might never be able to tell until it’s too late,
Your child is not safe with anybody expect you
Don’t say he can’t do it,we over trust people and relations ,but they are the ones who hurt us most
Please let this be a lesson protect your child children ,
Even boys this days are not safe too
I read a story where the boy said growing up the went for holidays in their mothers side with the mum and other family who also came
When it’s time for sleeping they said boys in one room and girls in one room this was how the other boy used him that night and almost opened his anuuus
He ran out in the middle of the night but they keep sending him back to go and sleep there when he refuses they flogged him very well saying his doing stubborn
And the boy succeeded in doing it
Today his an active homo
Parents should not take a child’s refusal for stubb0rnness
Let’s help guide our children
If that teacher didn’t question her this man will keep enjoying this till God knows when😭😭😭😭
How do you now explain to your inlaw that your husband def¡led his child of two years??????
Do you know what this will cause their daughter in the man’s house and family?
Haaaaaaaaaa
God Abeg oooo
Not mine.

@atiku You ain't the media.
Let the media cry for themselves, old man.
English

The Code of Conduct advisory issued by the National Broadcasting Commission is yet another troubling attempt to muzzle the media and shrink the space for free expression in Nigeria.
Our media industry has grown into a formidable institution, respected globally for its resilience and professionalism. It is therefore alarming that, each time elections approach, the NBC resorts to heavy-handed directives that do more to silence dissent than to uphold ethical journalism.
I stand firmly with Nigeria’s broadcast industry and all media platforms resisting this creeping censorship.
Let it be clear: ethical standards are not seasonal tools to be weaponised during campaigns, they are constant obligations.
The timing and tone of these regulations expose a deeper agenda. It signals a government more interested in controlling narratives than permitting a free, fair, and transparent electoral process. –AA

@Prince_dc21_ Idiaat.
An orphan.
Where's your husband in all of these.
Baby couldn't poop and you went to see a scammer seer.
Instead of a pharmacy or hospital.
Are there no mothers in your neighborhood you can call.

English

"I'm a first-time mom & an orphan. For close to 4 days now, my 4 months-old baby hasn't pooped. I've been so scared lately, & out of fear, I took my baby to a seer, & she said my child was being bewitched by my aunt,
Out of anger i couldn't hold myself, so i confronted her in the family Whatspp group & immediately left the group afterwards. I've been avoiding any one from the family trying to reach me. I'm so restless
Later, the seer asked me to buy some items, which I did, & we did a cleansing, but still, it's been more than 24 hours & my baby still hasn't pooped.
Please, I'm restless
I've been shedding tears all through.
pls help a sister🙏🏼"

@hornet_hives @CaptainArinze @manuelvwedee They will never be.
There's nothing like, government in Africa.
You only have people in power who expect you to lick their boots and join them.
In a society where the Banks are only positioned to exploit the people there can never be meaningful development.
English

@colif_isabor @CaptainArinze @manuelvwedee Chief imagine how easier it would have been for you if the government was a little more responsible and sympathetic.

I met a lady in her late twenties at a lounge some time ago. She was complaining bitterly about the state of the nation. I was just smiling, puffing my cigar, and enjoying my mimosa. At some point, she asked why I feel nonchalant about the Nigerian state.
I asked her who she voted for in 2015, 2019, and 2023. She said she didn't vote at all. I held her hand gently, looked into her eyes, and told her that she was part of the problem.
She didn't like my words, but at least, she allowed me to enjoy my evening in peace.
English

@unseriousguru Truth is your husband is a jack man or what is called wham bam thank you ma'am.
This means he doesn't know how to handle you in foreplay long enough before involving his preeq.
Go to a good pharmacy and ask for vaginal lubricant.
It will help.
English

"I was circumcised at birth and maintained a no-séx relationship till marriage.
I’m now married and cry whenever my husband makes love to me.
I never enjoy séx, and my husband is already tired of me.
My husband says he'd get séx from other women but I feel bad about it. What should I do?"
Shalom!

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family,
He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back ,
When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back,
His elder brother was kidnapped, ransom was demanded ,
Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife,
But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve,
At the same time, hubby lost everything to them, and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace
Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week
So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too
This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏

Every state governor has been chosen who will succeed them.

Why is it that some women can't endure hard times with their husbands?
My neighbor and his wife kept the whole house awake last night. She was shouting at him, saying a “lazy man doesn’t deserve to sleep with a woman.”
They were even dragging each other just to sleep together.
This is someone who once supported her—he even got her a car to help take the children to school. Now that he has lost his job, she denies him access to her.
Why do some marriages feel like a transaction these days? It’s as if once a man can no longer provide, he loses his place in the relationship.
As a man, would you still marry such a woman after getting back on your feet?
And to the women—why do some see intimacy in marriage as a give-and-take arrangement?

English

"My husband never wants me around him whenever I'm on my period. He claims to be a traditional man and forbids it.
I wanted him to have sex with me because I heard it helps relieve period pains, but he refused. He doesn't sleep in the same bed with me and won't let me cook for him until my period is over.
This is becoming a major concern and it's really disturbing me. I don't know what to do.
How do I handle this please?"
Above all, love God.
English

@IyelolaIge The lady, not girl, should go to her father, sit him down and ask; papa do you want to marry me?
English

My friend's father said she must marry from their state, same village, same religion.
She is 35 and depressed.
The village is small. Few people are even from there.
She has met men from the state but different village.
She finally found someone who matched the state and the village.
But different religion.
Her father rejected him immediately.
She calls me and cries every time.
35 years old. No husband. No options left within those walls.
Her father is not backing down.
And I don't know what to tell her anymore.
English

@EBona69 Ya'll faaging politicians.
None of you gone fix Nigeria.
I was in this country when a duplex was sold in festac for N5000.
I was here when rice was sold N35/a bag.
I was here when Leventis sold brand new Mercedes for N150,000.
Don't tell me about Tinubu.
You politicians fucking
English

Our new security man is a Tinubu guy. How did I know? He wears a face cap that carries Tinubu's face 24/7. So, I intentionally tip other security men right before him and I never get to give him money.
Today he was bold enough to ask me if he has offended me and he doesn't know. That oh, if he has offended me, he is sorry o!
So I packed and told him to come closer.
"How much did Tinubu people pay you to vote them?" I asked sternly looking straight into his worried eyes.
"Tinubu? Me? I dey craze to vote Tinubu, madam, I can never! I no even fit eat well I go come vote Tinubu? God forbid!' he shrugged aggressively.
I was calm now, I looked into the ugly picture of your president staring at me on his T-shirt, "how come you are wearing a T-shirt that has his picture?" He quickly searches at what he was wearing, and then boom, for the first time in his life, he realized he was hypnotized!
"Ahhh, ahhh, madam, Allah, na Oga sunny dash me all Tinubu polo and cap!"
Oga sunny is my neighbour.
"Damn oga sunny! Don't wear them again! I will buy you new ones. Burn those clothes and move on! I am here to buy you new ones! Do you want a new Nigeria?" I asked, this time with a higher tone.
"Yes ma, I don too suffer ma!"
"Good! Take off that filthy shirt, come to me, I will tip you. It won't be enough for your troubles, but never ever you choose Tinubu, vote a rat instead!'
I watched him pull his shirt and face cap, and right there, I knew what this was. A new Nigeria!
Let's do it!
My security man got a 4k tip for this, you can get a freedom from suffering for not Voting Tinubu.
A new Nigeria starts with you my friend!
Join adamu my security man, dispose your APC shirt and face cap NOW!

My husband thought he made me… he didn’t know I was already planning my escape. 💔
I wasn’t born into wealth. Before marriage, I was a primary school teacher earning ₦85k. I trained my siblings and supported my parents—I was the breadwinner.
Then I married a “big man” who sold electronics. Three months in, he said, “My wife can’t be trekking under the sun.” He gave me ₦3M to start a business plus a freezer. I thought I had married a king.
For five years, everything was fine. But after my second daughter, everything changed: late nights, rumors, young girls.
That’s when I realized the ₦3M was never a gift—it was control. He began visiting my shop, taking bags of rice, cartons—anything he wanted. If I complained, he’d say, “Isn’t it my money that started this business?”
I was losing everything. Then my mother told me: “A woman without a backdoor will sleep in the rain.” That day, I changed.
I joined a secret ajo with market women and started lying about the business: “Freezer spoiled,” “No profit,” “Things are bad.” But quietly, I was saving. I bought land in my maiden name, opened another shop in a different town, and put my sister in charge.
When his cheating worsened, I moved out of our bedroom. He threatened divorce. Then his business began failing. One day, he returned to take “his” shop and sell everything.
What he didn’t know? I had already emptied it. I took my daughters and left.
Today, I have my own house, my own business, and my children are safe. He’s now threatening to sue me and take the kids, but I’m not scared.
When the storm came, I already had my backdoor ready. 💪
What would you have done in her position? 🤔

English

@abdullahayofel I thought you people are planning for primaries.
Why don't you let the majority vote him out during the primaries if you don't want him as your candidate.

Why Should an 80-Year-Old Still Seek Power? — Amaechi Blasts Atiku on Channels TV 🙆👀🚶
Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has questioned the continued presidential ambition of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, citing concerns over age and leadership renewal.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Amaechi wondered why an 80-year-old would still seek to lead Nigeria when several African countries are producing leaders under 40.
He stressed the need for generational shift in governance, arguing that younger Nigerians should be given the opportunity to steer the nation forward. His comments have since sparked fresh debate on age, experience, and the future direction of Nigeria’s political leadership ahead of the next election cycle.

@colif_isabor @fattylincorn_01 Your reasoning makes me question your father's me/\ntal state.

I just dey laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
A burglary suspect was apprehended in the early hours of today at Festac Area, Lagos.
He was beaten, and the mob wanted to set him ablaze, but some respected residents intervened and pleaded that he be handed over to the police
This morning, the police were invited to pick him up. When they arrived, they blamed the residents for beating him and demanded ₦100k from them for his treatment.
The residents refused. The police then took him, dropped him off, and told him to go and treat himself.
Copied.

English

@Henrykking @fattylincorn_01 Maybe dem dey thief for your family that's why you called Police to come and rescue a thief, nonsense 😠
English

I once called the police to come rescue a pickpocket that was to be set ablaze . When they arrived , they asked who made the call and I told them I did so they requested I drive behind them to the station.... When we got there , they took my statement and I left to the car park to drive out and a police woman ran to me and told me the guy has fainted I should come take him to the hospital and I was surprised why I should be the one taking him to the hospital (though it was obvious the thief was acting up) I drove off on reaching the gate I was flagged by the driver of the patrol team and he said I should give them money to take him to the hospital else if anything should happen to the thief that police will claim I beat him up and brought him in almost unconscious and I'll go in for it... That's how 50k left my pocket just for calling police to come rescue someone that was to be set ablaze
English

@iamolasquare @tobbiematthew @woye1 @JohnFanimokun Actually, those people are majorly bush people.
It's only when they get to Lagos that some civilization enters them.
English

@colif_isabor @tobbiematthew @woye1 @JohnFanimokun IT still amazes me how he managed to become governor for 8years, which clearly shows the quality and intellect of those he governed
English

Let me say it the way it should be said.
After listening to Atiku Abubakar, one thing should be very clear to anybody who understands politics beyond social media noise.
Who advised Peter Obi to make that move?
Because this is not how serious politics is played.
You don’t leave a party where you are the undisputed face, where the structure bends around you, where your name is the engine, and then you walk into another arrangement where you now have to start negotiating relevance again.
For what exactly?
Hope?
Sentiment?
Public sympathy?
Politics does not reward that kind of thinking.
If there is no hard agreement that he becomes the flag bearer under the African Democratic Congress, then let us stop pretending. That move is a blunder.
A complete misreading of how power works.
Because the people you are meeting there are not your fans. They are politicians. They have their own ambitions. Their own calculations. Their own plans.
Nobody is waiting to hand over anything to anybody.
So again, I ask, and I want a clear answer, not emotional defense:
Was there a deal?
Because if there is no deal, then what we are looking at is not strategy.
It is political carelessness.
And in this game, carelessness is punished mercilessly.
