Even unplowed and icy you can see riders use the protected bike lanes. The city needs to do more to keep them clear to help keep bikers safe after bad winter weather.

@SamBardo1 @SenFettermanPA JFK was a Democrat and signed legislation into law to provide healthcare for the families of migrant farm workers, among many other things the government provided to vulnerable people living and working in the U.S. You are equivalent to a know nothing.

Walking to work, I witnessed World Central Kitchen feeding federal workers in front of the Department of Transportation. Absurd it’s come to this when our government should be OPEN. Pay everyone for their hard work. Feed everyone. Open the government. Country over party.

Understand that the most important concession these cowardly law firms are making is unstated: They will not represent any clients challenging government policy or abuse of power while Trump is president. And thus abdicating a basic function of lawyers in a democracy.

I’m not advocating for more taxes on NJ residents and the end objective needs to be a regional solution that benefits mass transit throughout the region. NJ has leverage to force this. The truth is we have lots of shared infrastructure with NY and thinking about the bigger picture to benefit NJ is what the goal should have been

This was a massive missed opportunity for NJ to have been smart in how the state approached congestion pricing. If the state was strategic we would have been able to gain funding for NJT, encourage mass transit for the region + move away from a car centric culture for the environment - those were on the table. Instead most politicians took the easy political approach in just saying it is bad per their polling and by doing that was advocating for the wealthiest 2% of NJ residents. In the end the state got nothing and congestion pricing is moving forward.
