A lot of people get pissed when cops do crosswalk enforcement stings. I don't think they do it enough.

@josh_metcalf One night out in Philly years ago we met some women who worked as dealers at AC casinos. Makes sense for people who work there. I imagine those casinos employed a lot of people at one time. Curious about employment numbers today. Sad this is the only line from Philly to the beach

Even unplowed and icy you can see riders use the protected bike lanes. The city needs to do more to keep them clear to help keep bikers safe after bad winter weather.

The man on the left voted fifteen times with Democrats to keep the government closed and destroy President Trump's economy. The man on the right voted 15 times with the Republicans to keep it open. Remind me again who's supposed to be the good guy?

@SamBardo1 @SenFettermanPA JFK was a Democrat and signed legislation into law to provide healthcare for the families of migrant farm workers, among many other things the government provided to vulnerable people living and working in the U.S. You are equivalent to a know nothing.

Walking to work, I witnessed World Central Kitchen feeding federal workers in front of the Department of Transportation. Absurd it’s come to this when our government should be OPEN. Pay everyone for their hard work. Feed everyone. Open the government. Country over party.

@SenFettermanPA It takes two to play chicken. You are not siding with the people for the long-term. Pressure Republicans to fully fund social services and healthcare instead of ICE.

As a committed Democrat, I’m dismayed my party is playing chicken with the food security of 42M Americans. I reject a political gamble that exposes a vulnerable constituency to widespread deprivation and chaos.

Whether it’s congestion pricing or this bad project to widen the turnpike there is a huge difference between democratic primary candidates on transportation. We stand alone with a real plan for mass transit. newjerseyglobe.com/governor/fulop…

Understand that the most important concession these cowardly law firms are making is unstated: They will not represent any clients challenging government policy or abuse of power while Trump is president. And thus abdicating a basic function of lawyers in a democracy.

@StevenFulop @YakTalk I wish you would do more than tweet about this though @StevenFulop. We could really use vocal leadership on this and bigger thinking. Counter Gottheimer with your own press conference outside the Holland Tunnel and talk about the poor air quality that exists now

I’m not advocating for more taxes on NJ residents and the end objective needs to be a regional solution that benefits mass transit throughout the region. NJ has leverage to force this. The truth is we have lots of shared infrastructure with NY and thinking about the bigger picture to benefit NJ is what the goal should have been

This was a massive missed opportunity for NJ to have been smart in how the state approached congestion pricing. If the state was strategic we would have been able to gain funding for NJT, encourage mass transit for the region + move away from a car centric culture for the environment - those were on the table. Instead most politicians took the easy political approach in just saying it is bad per their polling and by doing that was advocating for the wealthiest 2% of NJ residents. In the end the state got nothing and congestion pricing is moving forward.

It is important that you comment during the official budget period before December 9 because @PANYNJ does not use our social media complaints as part of its budget deliberations. Make your comments so numerous that they can’t ignore transit riders’ requests for better service.
Eric Allen Conner@eaconner

The Port Authority’s budget meeting is coming up. Please submit a comment asking for 1) increased PATH weekend and off-peak service and 2) funding for the extension to EWR. Register to attend one of the Port Authority’s meetings virtually. Link is on the next post. 1/2
