@FrankHughe69195 @_ElliottJackson Was it actually 8 seconds. The ref was counting way too fast. When the rule came in grass roots refs were shown videos of how to use the count. I bet if you time it was around 6 seconds from when he had the ball in hand to the corner being given.

@colin_probert @_ElliottJackson Toth was about to kick on the count of 8. Maybe a little harsh but he didnt help himself by dropping to the floor when he gathered it. All teams and their keepers did this to wsste time. 8 second rule was brought in to stop this and speed up the game. It works well to me.

#rovers surprised nobody has mentioned that the ref was unable to count to 8. It waz drilled into young grass roots refs when this rule came in. Yet in a decisive game like this we have someone who insists on starting at 3. 🤦
