Exciting news! Together with Epic Games we have filed a proposed set of changes to Android and Google Play that focus on expanding developer choice and flexibility, lowering fees, and encouraging more competition all while keeping users safe. First, big congrats on your launch! Android is where so much AI innovation is happening on mobile. Just to clarify, nothing - not Google, not any contracts - stops Motorola from installing Perplexity or anyone else as the assistant on their device. Motorola alone chose how to set up their device and how they wanted to feature Perplexity with the dedicated hardware button, app icon, etc. And users can easily choose their assistant too. Android is the OS where this is possible!
