Cutting North Sea oil and gas production is not reducing UK oil and gas consumption it's increasing imports Imported oil and gas has higher emissions than that produced in the UK So by his own standards he's making the "climate crisis" worse It's bad for the environment and devastating for the UK economy and only an idiot would think it's a good idea

@PinkDuckUK @neso_energy It’s not green energy - lithium is extracted through mining however you want to dress it up. It’s a carbon heavy and most done in countries like Africa where there are no restriction on using equipment with ICE. Wake up - net zero is a stealth tax forced on the working man

@colinthecops1 @neso_energy Lithium is plentiful and often surface extracted. Rare earths aren’t rare, China holds market dominance in them. Batteries are near fully recyclable, look up Redwood Materials company. Turbine blades are troublesome, but follow decades of clean energy production.
