On a principle level, you’re not wrong.
On a practical level, b2b sales is so relationship based, the company paying you to manage the relationships has a fair claim to some protections against you “stealing that relationship equity”.
Non-solicitation of former employees I don’t see any good defense for.

Mahmoud Khalil was thrown in prison for 3 months for protesting Gaza and the day ABC pulled Kimmel off the air (for two eps!) a judge upheld Khalil’s deportation. Rümeysa Öztürk was kidnapped off the street and imprisoned for writing an op-ed on Gaza. I feel like I’m going insane
