@colm1798 @rebelsabu2 I don’t think he did tho and there’s about 20 of those close calls per game. The replay showed there was a slight separation at contact so for me it was legit. Ref has to be consistent with them calls if he’s going to make a call that big.

That performance wouldn’t fill ye with confidence, scoreboard may have even flattered them a bit. All that said tho, they still could have won had the ref not pulled them back from scoring a goal for a throw ball. Terrible call from the ref and was a massive momentum swinger at a pivotal period in the game. Defs a worrying performance tho from cork, luckily there will be bigger days ahead.

Look where I am.

This weekend, I am reminded of the 1916 Easter Rising, where our ancestors fought for us to have a country. Rebels' blood was spilled, and many were executed, but in the end, they succeeded, and we, the Irish, got our country back. But today, in the year 2026, on this most historical weekend, I look at where Ireland is now, and I see invaders, who were invited in by our so called leaders. We are being outnumbered; they are outbreeding us, and very soon, if we do not stop this, they will outnumber us competely, and all will be lost. We will be a minority in our own country, a country for which our ancestors fought, will be lost not due to the actions of our old enemy, the British, but by the actions of her own leaders. The ones who were supposed to be our leaders but who are instead traitors to the Irish people. They have sold out for a few shekels of silver, consumed by greed, and now our children are suffering. If we do not stand and fight, we will lose what our heroes fought for in the Easter Rising. It is time we stand together and fight once again, like our ancestors, so that our children may have a future. #easterrising #ireland
