Snowfall from Saturday into Sunday has resulted in additional power outages in the foothills and mountains, but these are unrelated to yesterday’s PSPS. Thank you for your patience and support as we took steps to protect the safety of our communities and decrease the risk of wildfire on Saturday. We know being without power is disruptive and can be frustrating, so we take the decision to implement a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) very seriously, and we only take that step in the most extreme situations. Our goal is to limit the impact of a PSPS event and weather-related outages as much as possible while effectively managing wildfire risk.
