President Andy Sulick deserves more credit than he’ll ever ask for. He opened the door for our family and so many others, and in doing so, changed our lives. Counselors who fight for our kids when no one is watching. Teachers who see more than just a student, but a future. Admins who lead when there is only a narrow path. Coaches who pour into our son far beyond the game. I truly can’t put into words what each has meant to Dash’s growth as a young man, in the classroom, on the field, and in life. And then there’s the community. One that cheers for all alike, holds them up in hard moments, and celebrates them in the good ones. This is one of the most special places we’ve ever been a part of, and it all starts at the top with Andy. Forever grateful. 🙏🏽

Former Boise State football player and current Kuna Middle School teacher Andrew Woodruff had a sudden medical emergency last week, and had to undergo emergency open heart surgery. His aorta ruptured and it was touch and go, but he is currently at St. Luke’s recovering from successful surgery. He wants to thank cardiac surgeon Dr. Rachel Heneghan for saving his life! Woodruff was on the O-line for Boise State from 2005 to 2008. He played right guard in our first Fiesta Bowl win in 2007, and blocked for Kellen Moore his senior year. He was then drafted to the Canadian Football League, and won two Grey Cups. That’s the Canadian version of the Super Bowl. He came back to Idaho to teach, and he’s now a beloved teacher at Kuna Middle. He’s a proud dad and husband, too.
