Bob Mueller was one of the finest directors in the history of the FBI, transforming the bureau after 9/11 and saving countless lives. But it was his relentless commitment to the rule of law and his unwavering belief in our bedrock values that made him one of the most respected public servants of our time. Michelle and I send our condolences to Bob’s family, and everyone who knew and admired him.

.@jamestalarico: I've had a lot of interviews with national media. No one's ever asked me about the cost of housing. No one's asked me about the cost of prescription drugs. The only thing the media wants to ask me about are trans athletes.
The only minority destroying this country is the billionaires. Trans people are 1% of the population. Undocumented people are 1% of the population. We are all focused on the wrong 1%.
Trans people aren't taking away our healthcare. Undocumented people aren't defunding our schools. It's the billionaires and their puppet politicians

Very clear first amendment violation here.
They know it’s illegal. The goal is to intimidate and make others self-censor.
Illegal, sickening, un-American, but will undoubtedly discourage some from voicing dissent.
Everyone who can should raise voices against these abuses of power.

Woman arrested & jailed in South Carolina—for joining an online anti-ICE chat. Her crime? She told high school students she was "Proud of them for using their voices." She now faces up to 3 years in prison and a $3,000 fine—for the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police claim that as a "business owner she bears influence” over the students to manipulate their behavior. Dinah Marie Chollet co-owns The Knot Burger Pub—located about 4 miles away from the high school in Summerville, South Carolina.
