It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

🚨 #BREAKINGNEWS Trump was asked about possible US troops in the future on Iran soil. Trump pivots to stock market just hitting 50,000 which is a lie. The Stock market is now at 45,800. The dude has dementia. 🚨

@ProLOWD This is a fundamental misunderstanding of statistics and is dangerous discourse Let’s say it’s true SMU is actually 7.5 points better than Miami. Miami will still win something like 20% of the time? That does not make them better. The better team doesn’t always win

@mrddmia It is a proof of citizenship law to prevent those not citizens from voting. If you think making sure your legal documents are in order is too much of a hassle, then you really don't care about voting. Don't you go through hassle of getting a license to drive?

@BNightengale Smart. And good for DeRosa to stick with the plan. These managers and coaches know they can’t abuse players in an exhibition tournament. The MLB season is way more important than the WBC.

@RedSox Is it me, or have all teams just given up sending any roster guys on the road? Paying to see starters play AA/AAA guys all spring long is becoming tedious.

@theblackgatsby_ I really don’t know enough about it. I just know I’ve seen pitches that I think are strikes that the box on TV suggests are balls. Like this one.

For baseball nerds like me, this is the problem I have with the ABS system coming to MLB. It was a strike when it crossed the plate. And was correctly called. But by time catcher caught it, looked low. ABS challenge system will call it a ball. I say let the umps call it. FWIW.

2/7 FTs 2H, really 2/9 because missed 2 front end of 1&1s. Go 6/9 and down 6 with 3 to go. #Frustrating

Back watching game. Gotta make FTs. If L'Etang and Jones hit all 4, would be down 6. Need 2 from Jones ...

@ProLOWD Gotta keep going fast. Only chance is more possessions and hope they get sloppy. Half court, they kill us on both ends.

@__KP Big center goes to the bench 4 minutes in. Put the 7 footer 30 feet from the basket. 1 shot in the paint in the half for him.

@sullymygoodname -- "...when the delay does not interfere with play, it shall be ignored;" -- clock stopped for made basket. -- Refs were going to review video to see how much time was left. -- There was no interference with play -- it shall be ignored x.com/RefObserver17/…
OfficiatingObserver17@RefObserver17

Crazy sequence. Still can't believe what I saw. I think officials were intending to stop the clock to review the clock. Saint Louis also didn't try to immediately inbound ball. Think it comes down to did this interfere with play. Tricky situation for officials imo

This 100% should've been a technical foul I'm not sure how any Dayton fan could debate that. You can be a dayton fan and recognize they dodged a major bullet by way of incompetence to win. It's fine. Win is a win.
West Pine Bills@WestPineBills

Very telling that the only people making excuses for Montgomery being on the floor are Dayton fans. Quite literally a by-the-book technical. Not calling that is not dissimilar to simply just not counting a made basket. It’s not subjective.
