This time we have collaborated with a group of artisans at Tarajan tea estate for the project : Using Folklore for Communication and Social Change.This project has been running since 2016 and the process and module has been developed by Tezpur University, Cultural Studies Dept.

‘Use of Folklore for Adolescent Empowerment’ prog addresses issues impacting children thru folklore. It empowers adolescents to spread +ve social msg on social concerns. In 2020, with #SMSA @TezpurUniv @UNICEFIndia took the prog to 4,373 schools reaching 802,885 adolescents!
