Newcastle spent £260m on Woltemade, Wissa, Ramsey, Thiaw and Elanga last season. Spend your money better. Absolute shit fest of a club.

Brighton have got a fantastic deal out of it, but this is the problem with Levy. He’d of haggled over the deal all summer, we’d of lost out on a key target and would’ve had to pivot to someone worse. He also gave Everton £60m for Richarlison, £65m for Solanke and multiple others where he also had his pants pulled down for average footballers

🚨| It has been revealed that former #Tottenham Chairman Daniel Legy texted Simon Jordan that Brighton “have pulled Tottenham’s pants down” by managing to get 52m for Jan Paul van Hecke. 💰

Sent him on loan to Blackburn, recalled him, and in my opinion he’s been one of the best PL defenders on his return. It’s a huge loss. Unless Spurs are literally doubling his salary I had hoped he’d stay given the project + Europe it’s not to to be. Incredible signing for spurs

🚨 EXCL: Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Jan Paul van Hecke. Deal for 26yo #Netherlands int’l worth £52m fixed, no add-ons. Luka Vuskovic situation separate; 2nd #BHAFC offer worth £35m rejected by #THFC @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/73417…

Of course Of course. Of course.. Of course... Of fucking course! Another example of a broken system. The Premier league- “We know you (Aston Villa) finished 4th & won the Europa league, well done. Unfortunately even with Billionaire owners you don't generate enough cash, however Spurs have a higher income and they deserve to improve on their 17th place finish” Can't be arsed with it #AVFC

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham have entered the race to sign Sandro Tonali! 💣🇮🇹 De Zerbi wants Tonali as new star for the midfield, ideal to step up #THFC level. Spurs ready to face Man City and Arsenal in the race for Tonali for new ambitious project to prove their intentions.

I run a pretty successful company so you would think I would be on my computer all day even in hotel and airport lounges. Truth is I am never on it when not at the office. Yet everyone in this hotel lounge is head buried in their laptop. Am I just lazy or just damn good? 😂😂😂😂

On the morning of the President’s historic visit to Bunce Island, I stood on the boat, watching the waves glide beneath us as we made our way across the water. The air felt heavy with history, but also full of hope. As I looked toward the island, I was reminded once again that public service is not something you claim by title or position; it is something you earn through the trust of people who watch what you do, as well as what you say. On the island, when I watched the President walk to the edge of the sea and, with deep solemnity, lay the wreath, a familiar truth settled gently in my heart. Service is a privilege. One granted, never taken. One renewed every single day through humility and the kind of work that lifts others before it lifts you. But I also knew another truth: even when you give your very best, some will still ask for more. Some will doubt, question, or expect beyond what you can give. Yet, you should remind yourself that this, too, is part of service. It is not a burden meant to break you; it is a call meant to shape you. Standing there on the island where so many stories began in pain, I felt unexpectedly uplifted. If those who came before us endured so much and still clung to hope, then surely we could carry the weight of expectations with grace. We could let it strengthen us rather than diminish our spirit. The President’s visit reminded me that leadership is not just about praise, it is also about trust. And trust is built like the quiet, steady rise of the tide around Bunce Island. As we made our way back on the boat, I said to myself: We will keep serving. We will keep giving our best. And even when more is asked of us, we will let it inspire us, never dim our light.

People criticise Man City because they don’t have as much fans as Man United and the likes, but one thing they know how to do is honor people. Yesterday, after the game at Etihad, they awarded Bernardo and John Stones a lifetime ticket to Man City games, amongst many other things. On the red side of Manchester, Paul Scholes was complaining recently on a podcast that he was struggling to get a match ticket for a Man United game, this is a player who won dozens of titles at the club. In this clip, they also honor a player who won the FA Cup for them 50 years ago. Run it down to Kompany, to Fernandinho, to the new generation, Man City as a club know how to honor people. Give them that. In fact, they missed honoring Ederson and Gundogan, guess what, they brought them back to the club yesterday, and the event today. Their fans also feel closer to the club and players than many bigger clubs. This event was £12 and sold out. Look at the organisation.

People laughing but little do they realise that it's actually a lot closer than they think (purely in a Spurs shirt). Walker went on to become the best RB in prem history (2nd if you prefer Neville) but for Tottenham he was actually very frustrating to watch. Also very injury prone. Walker had the luxury of playing in some great teams aswell while Porro's had to play with the worst Spurs team of 40+ years.

@thespursweb If we can buy a 1st team GK, 1st team LB, LCB, two technical midfielders that can thread passes and top quality no.9 and a LW we can actually win the league. It's as simple as that. But instead it will be excuses that it is difficult to bring in players and end up with shit buys
