Stop stop STOP, immigration was a non issue in 2016, voters weren’t seriously concerned about it, they just found Trump’s overall bigoted rhetoric “exciting” and a refreshing departure from the “status quo”. 2016 was about trying something new; 2024 was about trying something a bit “old” and “familiar” in hopes that that “something” would improve the cost of living.
