Haven't gone to a Catholic Mass in 18 months. No one from the parish has called/texted asking where we've been.
This would be unheard of in most Protestant churches.

@concoschulz @PouncedeLeon2 @CatholicKyle This is one of the biggest and most harmful misunderstandings. Christ was never abandoned by the Father. The Trinity are always united/ inseparable. Christ is citing Psalm 22 to give people one last hint at who He is. He’s revealing his divine identity, not feeling abandoned.
