I first realized the creative potential of AI in music when I heard an AI version of Liam Gallagher singing Noel Gallagher's song If I Had A Gun: it was genuinely a banger. Fast forward. Suno is super good. Etc. etc. You have to use the tools to know what you think of them, don't you? And don't lie to yourself. If they're good, acknowledge it and weigh the consequences.

Soon w certain prompts, it will “imagine” certain sounds, it will create a signature sound. Just like any other novel piece of music technology

@its_adamneely You’re a musicologist, I assume this would be very intuitive for you. Suno could easily generate a synthesis of sounds, virtually impossible to recreate in any other fashion. Same way one can’t 100% replicate a Led Zeppelin guitar tone due to a combination of factors

What I find interesting is that people have much less of an allergic reaction to ai video/images than they do to ai music. Like I feel like if I caught a nigga listening to ai music i'd have to just give him a lobotomy because its over for him. They say that people who are blind and deaf would choose to have their hearing back over their sight if given the option. Maybe sight is just inferior and less sacred than sound.
