Farmers are being blocked from cultivating nearly 1,000 kanals of land that their families have literally poured their sweat into for generations. And let’s be entirely clear about why this is happening it's a direct result of @JKNC_’s total failure in the assembly. When Waheed Para and the PDP brought forward the Land Protection Bill to stop this exact kind of high handed bulldozer politics and protect small farmers, NC chose to reject it. They literally voted down a safety net for our own people, and now they’re letting the administration target local livelihoods. It’s really shameful and it’s pure betrayal of JKNC towards the people of Kashmir Massive respect to @parawahid ,@IltijaMufti_ and the entire @jkpdp team for not just tweeting about it, but actually getting out on the tractors today to stand with the farmers and sow the paddy. That’s what real leadership looks like. The ruling government needs to stop hiding behind bureaucratic excuses and start protecting the people who feed us

जयपुर के मालवीय नगर में 45 साल पुरानी एक मस्जिद को तोड़ने की तैयारी की गई है। पूरे इलाके को पुलिस छावनी में तब्दील कर दिया गया है और सुबह मस्जिद पर बुलडोज़र चलाए जाने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि यह कार्रवाई सड़क चौड़ीकरण के लिए की जा रही है। स्थानीय मुस्लिम समुदाय का दावा है कि मस्जिद की जमीन वर्ष 1981 में विधिवत खरीदी गई थी और उनके पास सभी कानूनी दस्तावेज मौजूद हैं। उनका आरोप है कि उसी स्थान पर मौजूद मंदिर को कोई नोटिस नहीं दिया गया, जबकि कार्रवाई केवल मस्जिद के खिलाफ की जा रही है। इस मुद्दे को लेकर इलाके में चिंता और नाराज़गी का माहौल है।

बेंच पर बैठे बुज़ुर्ग का नाम सलीम है। उम्र 80 साल है और सहारनपुर के रहने वाले हैं। उनकी बेटी किसी के साथ भाग गई, कई दिन से यह तलाश रहे थे, फिर पता चला कि मुजफ्फरपुर अदालत में कोर्ट मैरिज के लिए जा रही है। सलीम मुजफ्फरपुर अदालत पहुंचे। वहां एक आदमी का बटुआ गिरा हुआ था। जैसे ही सलीम ने बटुआ उठाया, उस आदमी ने सलीम को जानवर की तरह मारना शुरू कर दिया यह कहते हुए कि "मेरा बटुआ चोरी कर रहा था" सलीम भूखे प्यासे बदहवास बस यही कहते रहे कि "मैंने चोरी नहीं किया मैं तो अपनी बेटी को ढूंढने आया हूं" वहां कुछ लड़के थे उन्होंने सलीम की हालात और उम्र देखकर बात को समझा और आरोप लगाने वाले से कहा कि अंकल आपकी जेब कटी है क्या?? आरोप लगाने वाले ने कहा नहीं, तब लड़कों ने कहा फिर कैसे आप ही कह रहे हैं कि उन्होंने चोरी किया है। फिर लड़कों ने ही बीच बचाव करते हुए मामले को संभाला

Today, I experienced something that left me deeply saddened. After checking into a hotel in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, I was later (After an hour) asked to leave because of concerns linked to my Kashmiri identity. The owner was courteous & candid. He acknowledged that the decision was unfair and hurtful, but said he was following instructions. I appreciated his honesty and left without any confrontation. I am not sharing this to seek sympathy or assign blame. I share it because such moments remind us that while laws can unite a nation, trust and understanding take longer to build. For decades, countless Kashmiris have worked to strengthen the bonds between Jammu & Kashmir and the rest of India. Most Indians have welcomed us with warmth and respect. Yet incidents like this show that stereotypes and apprehensions persist. My faith in India and its people remains unshaken. I hope we continue moving toward a future where no citizen is judged by their region, faith, or identity, but by their character and conduct. That is the India we must strive for.
