So the @realDailyWire published a very lame piece declaring Joseph Smith a false prophet. But… they forgot about the Book of Mormon! If the book is true, then Smith was indeed a prophet. I’ve been publishing a series of BofM validations. Here another example: how could Smith have known about a documented oral tradition regarding the “coat of many colors” that was NOWHERE available to anyone in 1829 America?

That was a great opportunity. I am so grateful to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love this church and I know it is true. I know that my Savior lives! I know that He loves me.

It was such a great fast and testimony meeting. We also had a baby blessing that was wonderful, and all the pews and the overflow were full. We normally have 6 of the priesthood pass the sacrament, but the bishop asked me to help out to be the seventh.

So today during fast and testimony meeting we had someone come to church that had never been to church before. He got up and bore his testimony of the Savior and how he was coming to know so much truths. He said that he did not know if the church was true.

Approximately eight months ago, a horrifying attack took place during a Sunday sacrament meeting in the Grand Blanc Ward in Michigan. The following Tuesday morning, Susan and I were in Michigan to learn from and minister to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and others involved in this tragic event. What we saw, what we felt, the friends we made, and the faith in Jesus Christ we witnessed were life-changing for us. For my remarks at BYU Women’s Conference, I invited members of the Grand Blanc Ward to share with me lessons they had learned from this terrifying experience. Please notice the use of the words “light,” “glory,” and “darkness” in their reflections. What lessons can we learn from the Michigan Latter-day Saints about “rising up” (as quoted in the slides with permission) after a devastating experience? An eternal perspective grounded in the Father’s plan of happiness matters. Acknowledging we absolutely can never “rise up” without the power and blessings of the Savior’s Atonement matters. Covenants received worthily and faithfully honored matter. Spiritual priorities grounded in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ matter. Consistency in learning, doing, and loving small and simple spiritual things matters—all the time and everywhere.

Hot take: In many ways, modern feminism is to women what pornography is to men. - They both demean and devalue the opposite sex. - They both gratify self. - They both cause friction and difficulties in relationships. - They both lie and distort reality. - They both create unrealistic expectations. - They both bring unhappiness.

Our Savior Jesus Christ taught us how to relate to one another. The great commandments in the law, He taught, were to love—God and neighbor. (Matthew 22:37-39)

@ThisMomSaid Something that my mission President would say a lot is “God is more worried about what direction we are going, than where we are now.” Those small steps closer and closer are much more important than we may realize at the time.

The Lord LOVES effort… the devil loves idleness… It took me 8 years to get back to the Temple… yet… when I was ready… it took very little time… I look back at this journey and feel humbled by how much of this grew so quickly. June 2025… my daughter had her baby, she was exhausted and needed rest. We had driven all morning to see her… and was so sad that we needed to wait. Yet! Because of that… we went to breakfast… where we ended up meeting Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. That moment truly changed everything. I knew I needed to change… come back… and that I was truly seen. It was still hard… but I started the change of heart. October 2025 I was slowly coming back to activity after my meeting. I still had reservations… I got on X during conference… I never really published too much about my faith… but all that immediately changed that weekend. I met the community and started getting really amped up. I knew my time was now! And I fully began activity again. Early 2026 we met with our Bishop and let him know we wanted to be sealed this year. Our goal was our 10 year anniversary in November. That was that… not much happened afterwards. March 2026 one of my older daughters and I had a discussion about why her dad and I weren’t sealed yet. I let her know we were getting sealed this year… she said… well don’t procrastinate it too long. April 2026 same daughter… last Monday… on the phone with me as I’m bawling for not being prepared enough. She told me… “this is a beautiful remembrance to always have our lamps filled”… I don’t think I’ve ever told her that the 10 Virgins is one of my favorite stories in scripture… she knew I needed it. She was right. I let my lamp dwindle… There was a HUGE part of me that wanted to give up and forget it and just be sad I missed out. Yet… I KNEW that GOD LOVES EFFORT! And so, with faith… and acceptance that things may not work in both God’s and my timing… I put forth my effort. Prayers were answered. God heard them. He knew we needed to be together yesterday. And HE PROVIDED. God loves effort.

Cryptic message revealed: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! So here’s what happened… Monday I found out one of my daughters was receiving her endowment on Saturday. (She’s good at last minute things. I had three weeks notice when she got married in Hawaii). So I knew I had to do all I could, and hoped my timing and God’s could align. I texted my Bishop and his secretary and let them know what was happening and I apologized for being such a pain. My Bishop let he know he could see me… but wasn’t sure about the Stake President… and would see what he could do. I got to my Bishop’s appointment, not knowing what would happen. But I knew all my prayer warriors prayed in my behalf and if it was meant to be… it would be. After our meeting… he told me to go straight to the stake office building… the President was waiting for me. I drove over immediately. He had a huge smile on his face and let me know the miracle of what had happened… he said he rarely opens his emails but felt a strong prompting to open it that morning… and saw my Bishop’s request to meet me. He said he knew I needed my recommend, so he texted my Bishop back immediately so it wasn’t missed in email. Miracles happened! I attended the Temple today with my sweet daughter, my son-in-law and his sister and brother-in-law. It was an incredible experience. My heart is full. Thank you, to all those who prayed in my behalf… you are part of this story. 🥹🫶🏼🤟🏻

Even after doing all we are able, sometimes life still does not turn out the way we hoped it would. Singleness, childlessness, death, chronic illness, mental health challenges, divorce, and myriad other circumstances in mortality can feel debilitating to our eternal progression—but Jesus Christ will make up the difference in His own way and in His own time. We have a Savior who has taken upon Himself not just the sins but also “the pains and the sicknesses of his people … that he many know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities” (Alma 7:11–12). The Lord has promised that in the eternities no blessing will be denied His sons and daughters who keep the commandments, are true to their covenants, and desire what is right.

I wasn’t happy when Clinton, Obama or Biden won, but I didn’t call them fascist/dangerous/threat to democracy. I didn’t hope someone would assassinate them. I went on with my life with gratitude. Friends on the left, please try this. Your life and our country will be better.

A friend of mine is having a really hard time. His wife decided to go back to college a couple of years ago. He had a strong feeling from the Spirit to warn her about how college indoctrinates people. She said she would be fine. One day during her FIRST SEMESTER, she came home saying, "White men really are the worst thing in this world." He was like, "I'm a white man, what are you talking about? Am I awful?" She did the "well I guess not ALL white men" thing. But insisted that they are still bad overall. Lots of arguments ensued over the coming months and years. Now she is a crazy leftist and has left the Church. This happened to a 40-year-old woman. Leftism truly is a disease, and College is Ground Zero for catching it. My friend wishes to this day he had done more to listen to that prompting and prevent her from going. People who tell you Leftism can exist in harmony with the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ are deep in Satan's power.

The First Presidency has announced new age-group names for young women—names that reflect their identity, growth, and purpose. The new age-group names are: • Builders of Faith (young women turning 12 or 13) • Messengers of Hope (young women turning 14 or 15) • Gatherers of Light (young women turning 16 or older) Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman said the spiritual significance of the names became especially clear to her during a recent visit with young women in Tahiti. “As the girls sang, I was inspired to think of these covenant-keeping young women whose purpose and mission would be to build faith, share hope, and gather and reflect light around the world,” President Freeman said. “My eyes teared up as I realized the Spirit had been leading this process all along, inspiring names of faith, hope, and light that would help God’s daughters live as disciples of Christ and prepare them to enter a lifelong sisterhood of charity—the Relief Society.” Learn more by visiting the link below: newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/young-…
