I always wanted to create a youtube channel >In 2023 I decided today is the day >set timer to 1 minute >decided chess will be my niche, just a gut feeling >chose a channel name in 8 seconds >profile picture in maybe 1 minute >instantly started working on videos By the end of that same year I made $22k (profit) in a single month and my life was never the same One small choice made a big difference

you're always 1 idea, 1 connection, or 1 impulsive decision away from an event that'll snowball into you living the life that you wanna live... the best thing you can do to maximize your chances of such an event occuring are to: > keep learning like you're still a beginner at what you do > talk to people in & outside of your industry > relentlessly act on the ideas you see most potential in > make decisions fast it's hard to miss when you have all 4 of these points covered

I always cringe when people say something like "the fact you said that, makes me know 100% that you will not get rich" or "if your motivation is _, you will NEVER achieve this goal" I've met 19 year old millionaires who have very materialistic and self-centered motivations On the other hand, there are billionaires who don't care about personal wealth, they just have a meaningful mission and want to change an industry Another guy is worth $100m and has no mission, no purpose, but simply works because he's escaping his insecurities Another guy is worth $500m and just loves his work (no deeper motivation) What do you even mean by "that tells me you will NOT achieve your goal" People are unique Everyone's childhood, social circle, culture and consciousness is different You think zero people in history ever got rich with this motivation? Are you slow?

10 years ago my school teacher in art class basically gave us a YouTube strategy lesson I didn't know at the time But basically someone asked why we have to learn all these drawing and painting rules Color theory blabla And how she thinks she can give us gradws for our art Art is subjective and can't be graded She said You have to know the rules before you can break the rules Many of the most famous artists broke the rules And developed a new type of style that had never been seen before But before they did that, they actually studied the rules They were able to perfectly create a world class piece of art that looks just like all the other good art of the time And then they break the rules because they know what the rules are supposed to do, and they know how to achieve the same without following the rule or deliberately not achieve that But they know what they're doing Picasso wasn't just a random kid who decided to do whatever and accidentally became famous He went to elite art schools And his new style was intentional And it's the same on YouTube You can break all the title rules, thumbnail rules, retention and whatever But you need to study the WHY extensively Before you disregard the basic principles (high contrast thumbnail, bright colors, short title etc) you need to understand exactly why we do these things And then you can *sometimes* break the rules

In my mind I'm an unstoppable force of nature Place me in a foreign country with -500k net worth and I'll figure out a way to get rich again Why would you not think that you're someone who just always fucking wins When I started law school I used to say I'll never be a lawyer ps in Germany universities are nearly free, so I went to law school while also trying to build a business I always said I'm not even going to become a lawyer because I'll get rich outside of uni Sometimes I think the mind is not *that* important but then I remember I'm biased because I had zero doubts in my mind When I was making 0 dollars I told my family and closest friends that i WILL make $10k/m by the end of the year And it was 100% confirmed in my mind And obviously I made it In fact I made ~$10k in 2 days in december 2023 (that was a spike, not consistent, but the $10k goal was crushed anyway) Idk you just have to believe you're the type of guy who's just a force of nature Who just wins every single fucking time

Being an educational YouTuber is a bit like any other business You make videos that also promote your offer Basically ads The difference is just your ads have to be so incredibly good that people WANT to watch them And then you get paid for uploading ads that people watch voluntarily, with a pretty good conversion rate because the viewers already trust you Meanwhile conventional small businesses pay to run ads to strangers

this is an inconvenience to my life luckily, i live in switzerland, so i am unaffected by this homosexual rigamarole but here is the issue: even if my security and privacy is good, 50% of my friends are european so THEY are being supervised and if they don't take their privacy seriously, my chats with them are still compromised and i suffer from a policy that shouldn't affect me also, need some help on new setup: i assume insta, telegram, whatsapp and text messages are all affected. is signal still save? how should i communicate with europoors now

🇪🇺 The EU just passed Chat Control 1.0 in Brussels. Platforms can now scan your private messages again, officially "voluntary," in practice blanket surveillance. Here's the democratic scandal: 314 MEPs voted against it. Only 276 voted for it. It passed anyway... because an absolute majority of all MEPs was required to reject it, not just a majority of those present. More people voted no than yes. It still passed. Pushed through on an urgent procedure just before summer recess, when absences are highest and attention is lowest. This is how rights disappear folks. Not in one dramatic moment, but in procedural fine print, on a slow news day, while everyone's looking at Tehran. Source: @Fidias0 / Writer: Oliver

over the years we've built up a 3M+ swipe file of organic content, ads & VSL's promoting both digital & physical products... high-performing content/ads alongside all the stats, the product it sells, the landing page, etc. i will be making it public in the next few weeks

@const_yt Exactly. On top of that, obsessing over finding the perfect idea just keeps us procrastinating forever. We never end up executing on what we actually want to build.

I remember being in this constant state of "I do have big goals and want to work on something but don't know what to work" I was telling myself I'll have some idea in the future and I'll just make it work and be a millionaire But one day I heard a quote You have to shoot your shot, miss it, adjust the scope, shoot again, adjust, shoot and repeat until you hit Then I figured alr let me get started Set a timer on 1 minute and by the end of that timer i HAVE to start a business For whatever reason I ended up choosing to make youtube videos about chess and sell chess courses And obviously that's not a good niche, many chess youtubers (even big ones) quit because money is tough in this niche It was a bad or mediocre idea But from that day on, I was bruteforcing this thing to work out And in less than a year I had my first $20k month and started getting pretty consistent $10k months From there it was easy to pivot to new businesses because I has cashflow and knew how to get organic traffic You don't need an insane idea I had big goals but procrastinated for 5 years waiting for an idea And fixed it by picking a random business in 1 minute and bruteforcing it's success

i will never understand how a man can stroll through life without a big goal that he's consciously chipping away at on a daily basis.. i guess it's not even a bad thing to be content with a normal life and regular routine the issue is that most people living this way are NOT content, they DO have big goals, they just don't pursue them because of whatever self-imposed limitations they have don't fall victim to an illusion of contentment when deep down you know it's not the life you should be living... more importantly, obsess over the work required to live the life you want to live get addicted to making the life of the people around you better & you'll be happy

One time I helped a small YouTuber in the chess niche who wasn't monetized at the time Just gave him a video idea "Hitler vs Lenin | Chess Game in 1909" He made the video, it got 80k views in the first week, he got monetized, and then he deleted the video because he wanted to switch niches (btw I then made the video myself for my channel and got 2.1m views) He started uploading these ai narrated story channels 0 views on every video, I thought what a dumbass lmao After a few weeks he started getting 20k+ views on most videos I guess he's making a living off ai videos now There is no lesson to this story (maybe ideas are important blabla)

Sometimes I think about the MrBeast interview where he mentioned that he coached a youtuber and this guy went from $24k/m to $400k/m in 7-8 months Like, all you need is knowledge and execution. It's literally possible to scale to millions per year in a very short time You just need to press the correct buttons 🤯

@_GabrielYT Well tbh the point here was that it can take a lot less time than people assume, if you know what to do

Conflicted. I never write a bad Airbnb review but the place I just came from was a giant condo complex that was converted to 80% Airbnbs The elevators legit took sometimes 20 min. Photo below is a typical line to wait for the elevator. It will open and be already full of people. So you just have to keep waiting. The stair doors on each floor were locked so I couldn’t even walk up or down to my floor if I wanted to The lobby is full 24 hours a day with people sitting with their luggage. It’s Toronto so the fucking lobby / elevators smells like absolute shit, you will know why if you have been here. Do I absolutely decimate this guys Airbnb or leave it alone?

“No one is getting in trouble for MRR stuff” the same way every dropshipper has a Huracan and every 23yo is on a boat in Greece. It’s social media! People aren’t broadcasting the parts that suck.
