Around the world, consumer choice is under pressure. New rules, new bans, new limits — shaping what we buy, what we use, and how we live. But consumers deserve better. Consumer Choice Center — an independent, non-partisan global advocacy group. We champion freedom of choice, innovation, and abundance in everyday life. We use research, data, storytelling, and on-the-ground activism to make sure your voice is heard in parliaments, in the media, online, and on the streets. Across every continent, we are there where decisions are made. We empower people everywhere to speak up, stand up, and demand better. Tens of thousands of members. Dozens of campaigns. Because Your Choice is Our Fight.

I am really excited about the Artemis mission, y'all! In my recent blog for @ConsumerChoiceC, I go over the cool historical moment, while also reviewing some of the barriers facing commercial space as they seek to reach for the stars.

Washington has sued Kalshi for violating the state's online gambling laws. I get why people think otherwise, but event contracts are under tight CFTC regulation. Looks like a duck, may even quack like a duck, but is legally classified as something else. Supreme Court time!

Even worse? These strict rules are forcing airlines to cancel flights instead of fixing delays. In fact, 70% of cancellations could be avoided with smarter, less rigid regulations. Read the full analysis by @wirtzbill: 🔗 newsmax.com/billwirtz/airl…

"Free" compensation isn't a gift, it's a hidden tax on your next trip. Many people think flight compensation is a penalty for airlines, but the truth is simpler: you’re already paying for it in your ticket price. ⤵️

That money doesn’t appear out of thin air. It’s added to every ticket. You're essentially forced to pay for insurance you never asked for. Even worse? To avoid payouts, airlines now cancel flights instead of fixing delays. Better travel comes from competition, not from copy-pasting failed European policies. Our Senior Policy Analyst Bill Wirtz explains why copying these European rules is a bad deal for Americans. Take a look ⤵️ newsmax.com/billwirtz/airl…

If you've ever flown to Europe, you've probably seen the ads: "Flight delayed? Claim your $700 now!" But here’s what they don't tell you. ⤵️🧵

In many cities, flexible jobs, ride-hailing, short-term rentals, and delivery apps aren’t luxuries. They’re how people deal with expensive, overregulated urban life.

For years, the United States has paid more for medicines, helping fund the research that benefits patients around the world. If U.S. prices are capped too aggressively, the result may not just be lower prices, but fewer new drugs and slower access. As @JayJGoldberg argues, policymakers should consider the long-term consequences of price controls, including the impact on research, investment, and patient access to life-saving treatments.
