URANIUM PRODUCERS Uranium producers, adjusted for inflation, are now trying a breakout of their 6-month old resistance while trading above their 2- and 7-year moving averages. $URA used as a proxy.

I am concerned that not enough people have internalised the consequences of creating an economic and social environment where your average Joe no longer has anything to lose. The political class, in particular, clearly does not understand this.

Regardless of the quality of the guy.. the fact he bowed down to industry pressure on diversity and inclusion and did welcome to countries in his calls at Sandfire just says coward to me. Sure he’ll have the backing of the investment community.. but fuck him. Welcome to my country…

@XFreeze Why not use solar @elonmusk ? Its almost as if you don't practice what you preach. Please stop pushing your Rube Goldberg panels. My communist government uses that grift to waste my tax dollars and ruin the grid. Thank you.

Elon Musk explains the “series of miracles” xAI had to achieve to bring one gigawatt of power online for its supercomputer cluster in Memphis The xAI team coordinated dozens of gas turbines, faced permit challenges in Tennessee, and ultimately moved the power generation just across the border into Mississippi. From there, they had to run high-voltage transmission lines and build an entire power plant on the Mississippi side and it was very difficult to build that But the deeper point is even more important Most people calculate AI power needs by looking only at the GPUs. That is a serious mistake. A real data center also requires substantial power for networking, CPUs, storage, and most critically cooling In Memphis, where summer temperatures are extreme, peak cooling demand can add roughly 40% more power. On top of that, operators must maintain extra capacity so generators can be taken offline for servicing without shutting down the entire system. This redundancy typically adds another 20 to 25 percent When all of these factors are included, Elon stated that approximately 110,000 GB300 GPUs require roughly 330 megawatts of actual power generation This is why building and powering frontier AI data centers is far more difficult and far more capital intensive than it appears from the outside

You can actually measure it. Using a simple phase angle test (impedance scan with sticky leads on wrists and ankles), doctors can estimate how well your cells hold this crystalline water. Healthy people often score 7–8. Cancer patients frequently drop to 4. Death hovers around 3.5. Bush points out that plain drinking water mostly passes through you in under an hour. Real hydration requires minerals, proteins, and the right matrix to turn water into that gel battery. Without it, you pee it out — no reservoir built.

Dr. Zach Bush completely changed how I think about water, energy, and what “aging” really means. We assume hydration is just drinking clean water. But your body is 70% water — and almost none of it stays in liquid form. The vast majority exists as a crystalline, gel-like structure inside your cells. That crystal water acts like a battery, storing sunlight energy captured by plants through chlorophyll and passed to your mitochondria. The more of this structured water you hold, the more vital you are.

Nuclear will continue to go sideways while solar and wind continue to go parabolic. The reasons are a) technological and then b) NIMBY-ism and local regulation. The critical question, as this continues for a while, is when the marginal cost of solar and wind becomes effectively zero (next few years), and the ramp up time for a new MW then also becomes zero what the economics, energy density and time to market of nuclear will have to be to remain competitive. In other words, when will far-field nuclear (ie solar) eat near-field nuclear (ie SMRs and such).
Jesse Peltan@JessePeltan

Solar and wind now both individually generate more electricity than nuclear.

I agree that psychedelics are on balance safe, under-studied, and likely extremely useful in multiple psychiatric conditions (much data is already very supportive in depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, longevity). See my timeline. Yet it is bizarre to me that their re-introduction into medicine is heralded by a podcaster and a lawyer talking in the Oval Office behind a president with a background in real estate development.

McDonald's is a perfectly acceptable carnivore option. Twelve beef patties. No bun. No fries. No Coke. The patties are not cooked in seed oils. There are no additives in the beef. It is beef. Yes, it costs £14.50. No, you don't need to forage it from a heritage breed Herefordshire farm to earn the health benefits. The carnivore diet works at McDonald's. This is a feature, not a problem.

You've done the research into seed oils. You stopped buying the bottles. No sunflower oil. No rapeseed. No vegetable blend. You feel good about this. I don't want to ruin your day, but it's not even close to done. The bread: rapeseed oil, third ingredient. The hummus: sunflower oil for that smooth commercial texture. The peanut butter: rapeseed added to stop the separation. The crackers, cereal bars, oatcakes: seed oil, page one. The dark chocolate: sunflower lecithin. The antioxidant claims on the front do not mention this. The restaurant salad, however virtuous: dressed in rapeseed or soybean. The healthy option. Still seed oil. But here's what catches most people out. Nuts and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds. All high in linoleic acid. All adding to the same PUFA load. The trail mix your colleague calls clean eating is seed oil in solid form. And then there's the meat. Chicken, pork, turkey, and farmed salmon are all fed corn and soy. What they eat, they store in their fat. A factory-farmed chicken in 2026 has a fat profile closer to sunflower oil than to what a chicken contained in 1960. You're eating the seed oil. You're just eating it through an animal. The only fats that stayed stable are from ruminants on grass. Beef. Lamb. Bison. Grass doesn't contain much linoleic acid, and neither does the animal that eats it. Even when it's finished on grain. The bottle was always the most visible part of a much bigger problem.

Imagine how blissful it was holidaying in the Gold Coast in the 80s: Beautiful beaches, unmatched vibes, in a supermajority of your own people. I travelled there recently for work, and despite the wonderful weather and beaches, I can only describe it as a balkanise rabble of Africans, Lebanese, Chinese and Indian tourists, with burqas everywhere. It was truly confronting to see one of our iconic holiday resorts swamped by thousands of foreigners. There is nowhere left untouched in our nation, from the spread of mass migration.

The remarkable resilience of copper prices given what we’re seeing across markets cannot be ignored. It’s striking how the metal is evolving from a traditional cyclical gauge of economic activity to one increasingly driven by structural demand and a tightening supply backdrop. This is the time to be building a position, in my view. If recent volatility hasn’t derailed it, what will? open.substack.com/pub/tavicosta/…

A lot of people come to me eating “perfect”… and still don’t feel good. Same meals every day. Same ingredients. Same routine. Chicken. Eggs. Almonds. Sweet potatoes. All “healthy.” But your body isn’t designed to see the exact same inputs over and over again. Sometimes it’s not the food… it’s the lack of variety. Rotate your foods a bit. You might be surprised how different you feel.
