Brendon McCullum had unbelievable athletic ability. At practice with KKR he would sometimes do something that had the whole squad dumbstruck.
I always used to wonder if he was regularly in the outfield instead of keeping, how many more such moments he would have provided.

What's the point of playing Veer over Urvil when he's not bowling.
It's been 2 games already. This is a basic thing.
I don't think Veer is so good with the bat. (as of now)
Ruturaj & Fleming deserve full criticism on this matter.

Hopefully Prashant Veer is fully fit to bowl tonight. 💛 If he bowls then CSK will look like more of a balanced side. If he doesn't bowl then no point in making him play - simple. ✍️

@review_retained They think picking him is backing him :( :( !!! Better to pick Urvil if Veer isnt bowling...!!!! As an SLA give me 1 over atleast let him give runs but see what he has got !!! Man.. such a timid team approach ..!!!

I said, in this flat deck, 225-235+ was out for taking... BUT they didn't accelerate (esp in PP) and ended up 200+,in other pitches they maynt score 150+!

@coolvis2010 @RishikeshwaranC They still scored 200+ and couldn't defend it. You need bowlers to stop runflow. Not everytime you will be chasing . Bowling is still the main issue

Both Henry and Khaleel flopping with the new ball would be a huge blow to CSK. They don't have death bowling either, they rely heavily on powerplay impact. Also puts so much pressure on Kamboj.

@coolvis2010 @RishikeshwaranC it's still not worse than providing flat tracks where almost every opponent has gun indian and overseas batters meanwhile csk only has brevis who is injured, matt short who is shit against spin. Also csk bowling doesn't have a tall hit the deck guy who can do well on flat tracks

@RishikeshwaranC CSK themselves are the culprit, why not giving some grass when you have got the likes of Henry, kamboj. Henry can wreak havoc any top order when there is some seam movement. He is not called wobble king for nothing

Kartik is still a good talent, but Veer looked so undercooked yesterday in the 7 balls he faced
Felt as if the balls were hurried onto him, couldn't get bat on ball properly, despite average bowling.
Rutu didn't even give him an over, which means his bowling isn't IPL ready.

Nowadays, almost every team prefers to have tall fast bowlers/HTD in the ipl. Except one. Although CSK have kept one in the squad - Jamie Overton. In yesterday's conditions, they needed one such bowler.

even at the lowest, never seen a csk this unorganized, this un-involved. they look like they're playing with eath other for the first time. nobody cheering anybody. just someone bowling, throwing, running as if forced to do so. leave trophy, leave even a win, become a team first.
