"Someone's stealing our videos and posting them on TikTok." That was the message I got from a client one random morning. He sent me the account and yep, they were posting our videos in tiny pieces for the TikTok audience. The knife in the gut? Our videos were getting millions of views. Some random guy from who knows where was stealing our content. And blowing up with it. It was annoying. But instead of letting the anger get to me, I noticed something interesting. People knew the videos were from YouTube and kept asking for the channel name so they could watch the full thing. Then I checked our YouTube comments. People were saying they found the channel through TikTok. We weren't even posting on TikTok yet it was sending us thousands of views. So I told my client, "Let's start posting on TikTok too. Officially." That same day, we created an account and started posting the best parts of our long-form videos. We did the same on YouTube with Shorts. It worked. Millions of short-form views. Thousands of eyeballs that wouldn't have seen our long-form videos if we hadn't cut them up into short pieces. Since then, this has been one of my go-to YouTube strategies. Create long-form content. Then use short-form to bring people back to it. (Real ones know accounts that steal Dinzo's content rack up millions of views. And a good chunk of those viewers end up finding the actual channel.) A huge part of your audience is already doomscrolling TikTok and Shorts. Go meet them there. Btw, we eventually discovered our editor was running the account stealing our videos.

I’ve lost money on over 9,000 ads I personally wrote. I’ve had over 2000 1-on-1 sales consults reject my offer. My first 300 episodes of my podcast I published with barely any downloads. In 9 different business partnerships, I was the reason we failed. 3 times I pitched an entire audience - and sold no one. Nobody is special. Everybody sucks when they start.

When I was 22 living in Vegas with my poker buddies we invented a game every time we went out. If you got REJECTED 5 times by girls you got the night FREE. All drinks & food was covered by the other guys. It made getting rejected a positive thing! You approached unattainable girls because you quickly realized there is no BAD RESULT. They say no, who cares, you never see them again & get a point. They say yes, you invite them to join, & have a fun night. Fear of failure & rejection stops 99% of people. This was a fun way to completely remove that fear from our lives!! Highly recommended to young single guys!!

BIG NEWSSSSS lol for real though, this is exciting. tldr - I'm releasing a massive advertising/copywriting course to the world, for free. It's called The ****** Button. I created it about ten years ago. Back then, the concepts I taught in the course had produced about $30M in revenue for my business. Since then, the same concepts have gone on to produce over $400M, across multiple markets. So if you're selling anything online, there's probably at least ONE tip in it worth some decent money to you. The course was everything I knew about how to write ads and VSLs. It's 42 modules, each 20 - 60 minutes long, and God knows how long it took me to create it. I launched it, started selling it... then decided I did not want to be a make money guru. In retrospect, that was a great choice for me. So... the ****** Button has been sitting on a Google Drive ever since. Every now and then, I see a twitter thread asking "what are the best copywriting courses out there?" I haven't been through anything recent... I know that @StefanGeorgi and @mialovelyihgux6 are legit af and their courses are consistently in the lists. But I've always thought The ****** Button was damn good, and should be more widely shared. Well, I STILL have no interest in being a an online guru. In fact, trying to charge for this course would be more of a distraction than it's worth, so... releasing it for free. My sincere hope is that it a.) helps some people advance their skills / careers, b.) gets my name out to people who wouldn't have otherwise found me and c.) long-term / long-tail, it's a recruiting engine.
