Once you do all the copywriting & marketing for your first product YOURSELF...
You'll realise that doing all the copywriting & marketing by yourself is NOT easy at all (and on the top of building your product & iterating it on that)
And you'll learn it's NOT easy at all to learn & master the art of selling like it seems to be at first.
P.S. Want to learn this art of selling to build more trust & get more sales for your product step-by-step in <5mins a week?

You can 2x your revenue & more as a product creator
If you simply make email your main product distribution channel
Because email runs & sells on "TRUST"
The best relationship a business can have with their customers.
And it has the highest ROI of all time among all the distribution channels
It's not an assumption, but a fact.
What about you... Do you have an email list?
English

Thanks for all the support on my email last week
Sent that email after many months & loved your replies on it
Gonna send the next one today
Sharing "What was I up to while I didn't send you any email"

@paul_suvadeep Had a welcome email automation setup
But I removed it now because I'm making changes to my email list (totally)
So don't have one
English

@_lhermann Damn, Tim Ferris overtaken :) 😅
This is impressive though!

Best Outreach DM Hack ever:
Don't say
"Would you be interested if I do [this] for you?"
OR
"How would you like if I write [this] for you for FREE?"
Anyone can write this
Instead:
Write a piece for them (Landing page audit, a minimal graphic design or whatever you do)
And send that to them with "why" it's better & "how" it'll help them
Instant respect gained from them because you've literally put in the work & not just talked big shite
And not just this - you've learned & practiced your craft too (a win in itself too)
Not many will do this though.
P.S. I've been doing this for 7+ weeks now and sharing the results & learnings with my email list
You can join 90+ others if you want to learn it too

@DmytroKrasun P.S. Just checked ... I cannot DM you Dmytro 😢
(It's set on "people you follow" only I believe)
English

Hey @DmytroKrasun
How would you like it if I write a Welcome Email for you that:
• Shares your story & journey (which makes your reader familiar with you & builds trust)
• Shows (not just tell) what they can expect & how you'll help them
• Shares what kind of place you want your newsletter to be
All this in a fun, conversational manner like talking to a friend that doesn't feel Boring, templated or AI-generated
In a short read (~380 words -> 1.5 min read)
Aka making a first impression that imprints on their mind
& making your newsletter the "conversation hub" you want it to be
This is what I've EXACTLY done with this Welcome Email I wrote for you, Dmytro:
—————---—————
—————---—————
Subject Line A: 3 years to reach this
Preview A: To make more money from my product than one of my best salaries at 9-5
Subject Line B: 18 years coding & counting…
Preview B: Building a product to $150k+ ARR from ZERO
===
I’ve been coding for almost 18 years now
And recently, I reached $156,485 ARR for my product (ScreenshotOne(dot)com) in Dec 2024
It took me around 3 years to reach this from Zero
And it was one of the best decisions of my life
To follow my curiosity & inner fire — and start building
Hey there 👋
I’m Dymtro Krasun (My friends call me Dima :)
I have worked for 10 years as a server-side developer (that’s where the 18 years of coding comes from)
And I also built side projects when I was working on my job (although I couldn’t focus much on them because job was my main priority)
But I’ve always loved building & learning things (I’m a curious guy)
And that is what I’ll share with you in this newsletter:
• Things I’ve built
• Insights I’ve learned
• Stories I’ve gathered
• Mistakes I’ve made you can avoid (to save time, effort & money)
And more…
So basically Fun, Cool lessons to help you skyrocket your building journey & make money from it
Now I don’t post a lot of emails
Cause I don’t believe in putting something in your Inbox that won’t help you or provide you with something
And I want to treat this newsletter as a place where we can talk freely and share our thoughts, stories & journey with each other like friends
That’s my main goal with this newsletter
So I don’t have a fixed posting schedule as of yet (might follow one in the future)
But whenever I post, you can bet it'll be something that can help you either by sharing some insights or something from my building journey
Now to make sure, you receive those emails I send
Reply to this email with “Hi” and what you’re currently building and we’ll chat if you like
Cause that’s the best way to know each other
(Also, sometimes emails get flagged due to Gmail filters
And replying tells Gmail that we’re friends)
Well, that’s all for today
You’re Welcome to Dmytro’s Substack
I’m excited to know about you
Dmytro
P.S. If you’re new to my content then I’ve some stuff to help you with your building journey:
Lessons learned from my first Marketing month - Insightful if you’re new to marketing your own product
Interview with Starter Story: How I built $12k/m Micro SaaS
You can check out for more on Dmytro Krasun
—————---—————
—————---—————
So how do you like it Dmytro?
I've also sent you a DM with the Welcome email Google doc
(It's more organized there - & includes all the links too)
Would mean a lot if you reply to it
It was lovely knowing & writing about your journey, Dmytro
Thanks for reading!

@tibo_maker A headline that'll sure make your read the email as a product creator :)
English

@NafetsWirth And this is the best way to write to your newsletter (have conversations like you'd in real life :)
English

@marclou The haters gonna hate (let them do their job)
You do yours Marc (Inspire people like me :)

Since I made nearly $2M as a solo developer, some say "it doesn't count because it's not SaaS".
- I've built 10 SaaS solo
- Currently making $5,395/month
- And made $237,000 in total (90%+ profit)
- I've automated everything, I'm paid to sleep
Since 2018, I've been paying the bills with my SaaS startups.
This is not a tweet to brag, but a reminder that some will only see the tip of the iceberg and convince themselves that’s the whole story.

English

I grew ScreenshotOne.com to $14,649 (+$1,047) MRR in February and 377 (+37) paying customers.
I am not in the position to complain and super grateful for the opportunity to work on what I want.
A lot of support tickets, feature requests, issues. That's great to have them.
But it is a bit tough recently. I can't go on vacation without my laptop, and I can't experiment with side projects. It is 9-5 again now.
That will be my focus in the upcoming months—to reduce that load. Otherwise, it is not sustainable long-term.
