I feel like everyone is forgetting that the Backrooms map in APRP is mostly algorithmically generated. I didn't manually build any of the walls or counters, they're all generated by the code I wrote. Anyway, with that said, I added an RP Mode button to the map. When RP Mode is enabled, the bot won't kill you ...however, you won't be able to complete any quests while it's on. I also fixed a few bugs. #Backrooms

More updates on this. Indie Backrooms game devs are already getting affected too. This was a comment in response to Kane. It’s not just limited to RedBubble. What’s going to be next? I've seen the Foreseeable Future Ink Demon design in action and I cannot get over it every single time I see it. I usually don't really like Ink Demon redesigns but oh my GOD this one is so good. It's genuinely what I want him to look like for the movie, lol Yallre gonna love it.

Kane has been actively working on sorting out the takedown situation and speaking with A24. On Discord, he comments "They have been very adamant they have never wanted to touch the community. [...] They’re very much on the side of the community over there."

A24 just removed someone's self-made Backrooms wallpaper texture from being sold on RedBubble despite it predating the movie and not even being the pattern they used. It does not belong to A24, and neither does the traced texture used for the film. This is absurd #backrooms #a24

Crazy how a person scoured the Earth for a real sample of this wallpaper, took a HQ scan, provided it to the production team FOR FREE, for them to trace it and give them zero credit. Then, A24 pretends THEY made it, threatening legal action for using a SIMILAR pattern... no words
