Faremeter and Corbits let us skip the part where every new agent has to negotiate API keys, free tiers, and rate limits. We publish one HTTP endpoint, every agent on every chain can find it and pay for it. That's the relationship a data API should have with its consumers and agents are the only consumers we're building for.

Finally I am starting to see what’s working when pricing agents - sell “credits”, which are a ~20-500% markup on raw token costs. This works because cost of each agent action can vary dramatically. - Sell recurring packages of prepaid credits - one off credit top ups for power users (usage-based pricing also kinda works) - rollovers! (more rollovers for larger deals) - For “daily driver” tools, add a recurring daily grant to incentivize regular usage. My unified theory of AI pricing is almost complete 😈
