🎉We are pleased to announce that the Java MCP SDK developed by Spring AI is becoming the official MCP Java SDK!🎉 spring.io/blog/2025/02/1… As the MCP core team, we are happy to have an SDK for Java that feels like Java and fits perfectly into the wider Java ecosystem such as Spring AI. The Spring AI team has worked closely with us to make this happen gratuitously continue to maintain the SDK. And honestly, I can't wait to see what people build on MCP with the rich Java ecosystem at their disposal.

@KaranbirTech If you have an API key for another service like OpenAI, you can use an IDE-based client like Cline or continue.dev, or you can create your own programmatic client with the Spring AI MCP client library

@KaranbirTech Hello, Karanbir, thank you for the kind words! The MCP servers I built with Spring will work with any MCP client. That includes the free version of Claude Desktop, but you will be exposed to rate limiting.
