NFL reporter Crissy Froyd fired after slamming Dianna Russini for viral pics with Mike Vrabel trib.al/w4GjDKn

I wasn't expecting this… It definitely reveals that the NFL and its news outlets are circling the wagons around Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel. This is wild…

Some in media and on social media want to distract you in the Dianna Russini - Mike Vrabel scandal. By focusing on the tabloid stuff (the alleged affair, etc.). they can sweep the scandal under the rug with a simple, "It's none of your business." I'll remind you what this massive scandal is REALLY about: 1.) Journalism Ethics - self explanatory. 2.) The AP Voting process - Russini had a vote for COTY and is already on record saying she voted for Drake Maye for MVP. The @AP wrote about the Russini resignation and didn't mention anything about this. I think The AP wants this story to go away. 3.) Tampering - Numerous clips and articles have surfaced in which Dianna Russini has talked about both AJ Brown and Maxx Crosby being upset with their teams and the Patriots being a trade destination. Vrabel isn't allowed to lure a contracted player to the Patriots, so people are asking if he used Russini to manipulate the trade market. The NFL hasn't issued a statement on this. It's conceivable they're investigating this internally but that seems unlikely because they haven't issued a "We are aware of it, and we're looking into it" type statement. I think The NFL wants this story to go away. 4.) Accountability - Mike Vrabel is known for preaching accountability with his team, and now finds himself in a serious scandal. Instead of addressing the media, he is nowhere to be found, which is the opposite of accountability. I think Mike Vrabel wants this story to go away. 5.) Odd Media Coverage - TMZ turned down this story because it didn't want to "police the bedroom." The NFL Network acted as though the story wasn't happening. Dan Le Batard admitted covering the story made him uncomfortabe. Barstool admits to having a close relationship with Dianna Russini - it shows. ESPN, which made a big deal of the "Coldplay Couple" remained silent and refused to cover this scandal. Now even when some cover the scandal, it's with kid gloves and focuses on the tabloid stuff as opposed to #s 2-4 above. I think some members of the media media want this story to go away.
