Yeah, Paralives build mode is awful. It's not intuitive at all. You can't place single tiles down, building fences on a porch is impossible with stairs and adding a foundation sucks. Sims 4 build mode is actually way better. I thought Paralives build mode would blow sims out of

Kinda cope tbh. Nothing to really wake up about, the game just objectively runs like shit and gets even worse when multiple things happen at once. They'll (hopefully) fix it, but it wasn't ready to launch imo, especially at $40.

@res_trait I refused to buy Sims 4 until get famous cause it was so barebones but been playing Paralives for a few hours and this is the most disappointing game I've played. It feels like a demo. Hardly any furniture, Paramaker is barebones too and lacking gameplay.

@letzplayk People who have the absolute WORST long-term memory are refunding/complaining about the game that was always advertised as being Early Access.
We are testers for them, it's that simple. And in the long-term, we will get free updates forever.

Also a reminder that any DLCs that come to the game will be FREE. At the end of the day, it’s your money and you should do what makes you happy!

Seeing way too many complaints about Paralives early access being “too expensive” on my TL. Look, no one is forcing you to buy the game, so don’t if it’s too much for you. But, personally, I’d rather spend $36 now, & support a small but passionate team, then spend $60+ later 🤷🏾♀️

@jackofallgames7 a lot of the backlash around paralives right now is just people saying it isn’t worth 40$ to them in its current state, which is fair tbh. but like, just wait a few months, see how it develops, buy it later if it ends up worth it, or just don’t and move on

Hot take but the amount of backlash/unfair hate Paralives is getting for simply existing, with people comparing it to a game that’s been running for a decade, shows exactly why EA’s been reluctant to greenlight a Sims 5
