Everyone thinks the Europeans here in the US for the World Cup who are praising the US is a great thing. So do I. But am I the only person wondering how 40,000 of them, from each country, get 8 weeks vacation to travel the US and go to all the games? As an Australian, I’m genuinely confused by artists refusing to perform at America’s 250th celebration. This is a once-in-250-years opportunity to celebrate the country, its history, and the people who helped make these artists wildly successful. Walking away because the event might be seen as political only makes it more political makes zero sense to me.🤔 To me, this should be bigger than personal politics. It should be about celebrating America and the people who supported these artists every step of the way.
