I got a chance to be interviewed for a job. They offered a date/time that was less than two business days from the day I was informed about that interview.
I emailed back and explained that I had work commitments that people were depending on me to keep, but could we schedule it for the following week? That day I was not available. The response I received was that it was the only date and time they could do an interview with me. I politely had to decline,
and I thanked them for the opportunity.
I dodged a bullet, didn't I?

Virginia Democrats knew that this redistricting vote was not a Supreme Court issue but a state issue. They only took it to the Supreme Court so they could stir up more hatred against the conservative members of the court. This is the kind of despicable thing Democrats do.

This is so absurd. The U.S. Supreme Court has no role here and never did. Democrats made this appeal to do exactly what Spanberger just did with this irrelevant point. They’re blaming SCOTUS instead of themselves for breaking the law and ignoring the Virginia constitution.

The Supreme Court of the United States has now joined the Supreme Court of Virginia in choosing to nullify an election and the votes of more than three million Virginians.
These Virginians made their voices heard — casting their ballots in good faith to push back against a President who said he’s “entitled” to more seats in Congress before voters go to the polls.
As Governor, I will make sure voters know when and how to cast their votes this year. Because our votes are how we choose the representation we deserve.

I’m very aware of what’s going on right now. We have the most courageous president in half a century—a president who would rather take a political hit than let Iran have nuclear weapons, who refused to allow criminals and terrorists to pour across the border unvetted, who protects women’s private spaces, and who doesn’t want to pillage the national treasury like Democrats do. If you think the sky is falling, you are swallowing a lot of Democratic propaganda.
