For Rams to have any leverage in the Puka Nacua contract negotiations, they almost have to draft a wide receiver with the 13th overall pick.
As much as fans like to think Whittington is a Nacua-lite, who is the WR that you trust after Adams? It's Puka and that's it right now.

@RealDealFantasy @ArcheryRam I think there might be a run on WR early and I don't see them drafting a LB that early. DB/S are kind of full rooms at the moment. I think if gou are looking to keep the window open OT/OG/C/DT/EDGE are the portions that may be of need. WR is deep you cab get a WR3 later.

Kyren best trait is his pass protection. Not many RBs in the league are on his level.
Nothing needs to change with this backfield at all.

The problem with trading or demoting Kyren Williams into a No. 2 role is you’re accepting a downgrade at the RB function the Rams value most: Blitz pickup. It’s the biggest reason I think Kyren gets slept on by many on the outside. The Rams rightly value his pass pro a *lot*

The cap implications change preJune and Post June (not the salary).
