@costan07 @blackboughpoems Cosmic disasters metamorphosise into human terror. The world ravaged by genocidal superpowers.

@costan07 @blackboughpoems That’s really rather good Dean! Brilliant spin on contemporary events with perfect imagery! I (obviously 😉) speak for the entire poetic community when I say we’ve missed you and your words fella! 🏆

My mother was brought up in a #coalmining community near Big Pit, Blaenavon, where her father worked all his life. The miners’ skin was black & many had respiratory problems.
This is the subject of my #fragmentsfriday poem with thanks to @MatthewMCSmith @blackboughpoems

On February 24, 1989, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper arrived at the wonderful town of TWIN PEAKS to investigate the murder of Laura Palmer. The events that he would live there from that moment would mark the course of his life forever. #TwinPeaksDay

Afternoon all. The world is in a terrible place right now and at a real crossroads. We have a regime in power in the US who think it’s child’s play and it’s sickening to watch even being so far away. Thanks to @TopTweetTuesday for providing the weekly platform.

@ITattum @TopTweetTuesday Wow Ian. I really like this from how you set the scene in the first stanza and how it develops like a film short. Interesting use of Cotton Mather.

Good morning.
My poem for @TopTweetTuesday took a strange twist.
Great but very challenging prompt.

@justrandomwords @TopTweetTuesday A different approach Roger and one that gets you thinking long after reading thanks to the brilliant last line.

@IanRich10562022 @TopTweetTuesday @MatthewMCSmith A powerful poem Ian, painting a truthful picture of this little men. I especially think that opening is apt and the closing line haunts.

For a storm-battered @TopTweetTuesday and @MatthewMCSmith and all you poets, keep yourselves safe out there. Something a bit different.

@PaulWritesPoems @TopTweetTuesday Thanks Paul. Tried to go with the contrast. Also those Welsh wizards hit the nail on the head in 1998.

@costan07 @TopTweetTuesday This is filled with pop culture references and real menace. 🙌👏👏👏

@MatthewMCSmith @TopTweetTuesday This king is royal rumble power, grappling with glinting veneers,” this reminds me of an arctic monkeys lyric 😂👏🏼
