Surely this is just largely down to the high volume of set piece assists/headed goal assists Bruno generated and the low xG associated with headers even from clear areas. This is not to discredit Bruno but I think is a much more true narrative than United players being clinical given that no United player significantly outperformed their xG this season.

Bruno Fernandes had 21 assists from 14.91(xA) this season. In other words, his teammates were very clinical.

Studios are justifiably upset about the increasing lengthy pre-show reels of trailers and ads. Conversely, theaters would probably like a few more movies on the regular so they don't have to add extra commercials. (post in comments)

@St1ka I think a big part of it is nostalgia and that it hasn’t been diluted by endless sequels / remakes / porting. I still adore MGS but playing it again on PS4 has dulled some of the awe I’d had for it up until then, and reminded me of flaws I happily overlooked at the time.

While I think Chrono Trigger is a great game, I don't quite get the Deification it had gotten over the years. It's a great game, but it has some flaws as well

Oisin McEntee - Hearts New Midfielder? According to new reports Hearts are interested in signing 24-year-old American-born Irish midfielder Oisin McEntree from English League 2 side Walsall. Standing at 6'3, the uncapped Irishman was utilised primarily as a right sided centre back for Walsall during the 24/25 season where he boasted a number of impressive defensive metrics including 9.5 aerial duels per 90 with a 52% win rate, 10.13 successful defensive actions per 90, 7.17 PAdj interceptions per 90 and a 70% duel win rate. However, according to 8, despite McEntee being comfortable at both CB and RB, McInnes & Hearts very much view the 24-year-old as a midfielder. Immediately, it is obvious what physcial qualities McEntee would bring to Hearts midfield providing something completely different to Beni, Nieuwenhof, Devlin or Tait whilst fitting the profile of a McInnes type player perfect, however, how does the Irishman fair on-the-ball is he more than just his aerial threat? Let's take a look at the numbers and find out. In the 23/24 League Two season McEntee played almost 2500 minutes for Walsall with performances varying across RCB, RB and DM - the then 23-year-old produced six goals and three assists for Walsall during this season. Breaking down his goal threat we see; - Three goals from corners, two at the back post and one a the front post. - One headed effort at the back post from open play. - One back post tap in following through on a spilled ball - and one curling effort from the edge of the box. His three assist, produced from an xA of 1.26 included a: - Short lay off across the box. - A great cross delivered from wide right after initiating the counter attack with a great forward run - and a nice attacking run into the box followed by a short pass across the keeper. Looking at his broader metrics during this season, the highlights include: Defensively: - 9.91 successful defensive actions per 90. - 8.19 aerial duels per 90 with a 59% win rate. - 8.26 defensive duels per 90 with a 61% win rate. - 5.86 PAdj interceptions per 90. On-The-Ball: - 26 passes per 90 with a 65% accuracy, of those passes 11.97 were forward passes which were executed with a concerning 51.5% accuracy. - 5.28 long passes per 90 with a 45% success rate. - 1.12 dribbles per 90 with a 33% success rate and 1.64 crosses per 90 with a 34% success rate. Now, it's important to caveat the data by noting that by playing in three very separate role DM, CB and RB - Oisin's data is a bit of a mess, if we look at some of his matches specifically at DM for Walsall during that season then that data shifts to: Defensively: - 8.19 defensive duels per 90 with a 60% win rate. - 9.64 aerial duels per 90 with a 58% win rate. - 3.11 clearances, 8.99 recoveries and 4.44 interceptions per 90. - 26 passes per 90 with a 64% pass accuracy, of those passes 11.19 were forward passes executed with just a 47% pass accuracy. - 4.12 long balls per 90 with a 36% accuracy. - 1.28 dribbles per 90 with a 29% success rate and 1.71 crosses per 90 with a 34% success rate. When looking at the Premiership last season, the closest comparison to Oisen's defensive and passing stats during the 23/24 season is St Mirren's Alex Iacovitti or St Mirren's Scott Tanser during the 23/24 season. There's a clear link with the type of player Oisin McEntee is and the sort of player Derek McInnes historically enjoys additionally you could say that McEntree fills a specific skillset that we lack in the centre of the park. My concerns would firmly be over his ball playing, Walsall averaged just 43% possession over the past two seasons compared with Hearts 54.5%. Oisin's 64% pass accuracy is 18% lower than any player to put up notable minutes at CM for Hearts last season with his 47% forward pass accuracy 21% lower than Calem Nieuwenhof the weakest of Hearts current options in this position. Hearts midfield options current operate their passes on an average distance of 16-18m whilst McEntree operated around 23m throughout therefore the hope is in a more possession orientated set up that the 24-year-old would be tasked with simpler short balls that would limit his passing requirements. Not quite as exciting as Soufian El-Faouzi, possibly not as good, but certainly taller and definitely much more likely. How do you feel about this one Hearts fans?
