Special operations forces (including SEALs) undergo advanced SERE variants, often integrated with or building on BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training) skills like small-unit tactics, hand-to-hand, and endurance under duress. The missing crew member (the Weapons Systems Officer) is presumed to be applying these exact skills right now: Hiding in the mountainous or riverine terrain to avoid Iranian forces and locals mobilized by state media bounties. The Democrats are telling us, repeatedly, that if they win the House, they will impeach the president and conduct a reign of terror against all who work for him, all who have worked for him, and do everything possible to cripple his presidency. Now, what are we going to do about that and how are we going to prepare to confront this?  I don't expect on-the-spot immediate answers, but I do not think we should roll over and play dead as they burn down the country either.

Every single thing about this war sucks. I use the term "war" intentionally because that's what it is at this point. There is no benefit to it whatsoever for the American people and does nothing but hurt us financially and risk our military members lives. The only people who support it are Fox News boomers and people who love Israel more than America. The GOP is going to be utterly destroyed during midterms, and now none of Trumps agenda will get through. Trump screwed us all here to an unimaginable degree. Gas prices are up, consumer goods will rise with the gas price increase, and we are going to lose any hope of getting anything passed. Just because I voted for the man doesn't mean I'm going to go against a belief I've always held. No war with Iran. I'm not voting Democrat obviously, but Trump fully lost the plot.

Consumers are just screwed at this point. In 2025 we already knew that tariffs were being paid for as a tax on consumers, but this year things got even worse... Next Friday we get the updated CPI print of how back inflation really is due to Oil surging. Oil above $100 per barrel and every single good on the shelf will have increased costs, not to mention the price at the pump and now more tariffs.
