$hood fined for $45M and is pumping while $GME and meme stocks tanking. This is a big FU to retailers.

Lucky play of the week: Sold 3 Put credit spreads $14/$10 $RGTI 1/10 for $90 each on Dec 31. Bought back the $14 leg on Jan 6 for $28 each. The $10 put had no buyers so I left it alone. Today the $10 put was worth over $1.55. Was able to close out for that amount. Profit: $651

@Aja53john @ISITrading2717 You would need level 3 trading for etrade...to do complex call/put spreads. I assume you cant just sell calls w/o underlying calls or stocks. Not sure about margins since i never used it.

@coveredcallme @ISITrading2717 Not true. There are restrictions in a IRA that do not apply to brokerage accts. Example… short calls, margin, etc

Does anyone trade inside a Traditional IRA that they rolled over from an old 401k? Since it's a tax-deferred account, any pros/cons to doing this?

@RolfOptions I make way more selling CCs and CSPs with way less capital. I take 50% of the premiums I make and put it in the $SP and $IWM and sell to pay taxes in April. So far this strategy is working out for me.

Question to my fellow investors and options sellers Why would I invest in ultra high yield dividend fund if I can sell options and generate more that the yield they are offering? It is genuine question that I am trying to figure out myself.
