@KeyVagabon @NepSwirlRedux I would not mind them being imperfect or even outright bad parents, if it did not feel contrived in a lot of the places the writers added it. At a certain point, it felt like drama for drama’s sake, rather than actually asking “how WOULD they raise kids?”

Probably my biggest LOK hot take is that I actually like that they didn’t completely “deify” the ATLA cast. While their public perception is understandably quite high, their personal lives are shown to be more nuanced Given the maturity of the average ATLA fan, this was risky😭

@cowp54 @sammy_here_ Her ideas didn’t need to be developed since they were just abstract theories. They weren’t even possible before Modulo that’s why it couldn’t be implemented. She’s also not a mentor that’s supposed to be in the story long, just guide the heroes. Like Ben Kenobi.

Doomfist and all of his pre-game character interactions are gone from this patch. The only thing that remains are the in-game voicelines like eliminations or compliments. That essentially renders him, for now, a non-canon character
