Went to an Arkansas basketball game this year, I was walking out of the stadium, and was trying to find the right exit to go out of. Took a while and I noticed DJ Wagner walking with his mom through the concourse.
He probably didn’t want any fans to stop him, but I asked to take a picture and was the nicest I’ve ever heard an athlete be. He asked me how I was, told me and my family happy holidays. He had a huge grin on his face the whole time.
It hasn’t been the ideal path for DJ, but he’s taken all of it in stride. It’s a shame he won’t be a hog anymore, but I’ll always be a huge DJ Wagner fan.
