Had the pleasure of playing Lake Nona Golf & Country Club yesterday. This Tom Fazio design is home to many PGA, LPGA and LIV players, and annually hosts the LPGA Tournament of Champions. After experiencing the course I'm even more impressed with the scores the LPGA players put up. Lake Nona is a really fun golf course with wide enough corridors that it doesn't feel like a typical Florida golf course. The green complexes are interesting and tricky. As someone who spent most the the day chipping I got to experience many of the contours and slopes. The practice facilities are 2nd to none and the club seems to have a great family culture and was very welcoming to me as a guest. I would definitely like another shot at Lake Nona someday, especially 17 and 18.
