My dad passed away this morning.
Lloyd Young, 92 yrs young, let me caddie for him at age 7, bought me my golf clubs at 10, got me a junior membership at 11 & became a playing partner for the next 55 yrs.
Our father/son trip to the 2017 @TheMasters was epic.

Municipal golf success story…..@CityofBrantford Walter Gretzky Municipal reported $43,600 rds of golf in 2024 and closed its fiscal year with a surplus of close to $257,000.

Awesome day at Jr Golf Camp today at #WalterGretzkyMunicipal - 9 yr old Reid McHardy knocked a 9 iron in the hole from 100 yards on #2 from the Junior Tees for his first ever Hole In One - we are now calling him Ace!!

Great to see so many Canadian golf industry people, pros and junior golfers at the Celebration of Life for Sam Young at Shellburne G&CC on Saturday.
There were plenty of tears when a few of the former juniors spoke about what Sam meant to them.
RIP Sam you will be missed

I’ve been a proud @pgaofcanada Member for 35 years now - today was one of the proudest days of my career and life when my son Zac successfully played in to be a PGA of Canada Member at Fanshawe Golf Club in London - Zac fired a 72 to be the low man in a field of 42 candidates

After a disappointing experience from @NHL Shop I'm looking for help to get a @NJDevils black 'Jersey' Jersey as a Christmas gift for my son (size 52).

Is it possible to 'catch' the yips from someone else. Interviewed Alena Sharp the other day and she talked about having putting yips last year. And today, for the first time in my life I had the yips, Not much fun.

I'll be thinking of my old friend Jerry Anderson this week when the DP World Tour plays the Omega Masters in Switzerland. Jerry, who died in 2018, won this event in 1984 with a Euro record 27-under-par score.
He's still the only Canadian born player to have won on the Euro Tour.
