This guy used a car jack to lift an entire sidewalk and injected polyurethane underneath to stabilize and level it. This type of job can cost all the way up to $25 a square foot. But….. hear me out here, what if we just kept the jack in the ground and buried the $50-$100 jack right where it’s at? Wouldn’t that save a ton of money? Could it work? Would it work?

It's not just property. According to @MattBruenig you don't have the right to walk down the street without being punched in the face because without the state giving you a "violence voucher" against people who punch you in the face everybody would immediately violently assault everybody around them. This is not only a thing that would absolutely happen despite there being zero historical evidence for it, but it's also morally justified to randomly assault people if the state doesn't stop you, because otherwise we can't reframe basic human rights as a privilege that can be revoked if the state feels like it.
At some point, I think we have to just admit that the people making these arguments are psychopaths who are just making up excuses to steal people's wealth.
