Almost 24 hours after the Bondi devastation, and people are back to normal - I feel like the enormity of it all is just hitting. It’s so sad to think about, but in times of tragedy and grief, the world just moves on. That I just don’t understand. 🤷‍♀️🥲

Training Report — 28/11/2025 The boys hit the track in near-perfect conditions, with the Hangar bathed in sunshine. Sullivan Robey was in at the club doing indoor work and watching the boys go through their paces. The session opened with some strong running and a series of drills focused on physicality. The now-standard grappling drill featured again, along with a close-quarters tackling and handball drill designed to put players under genuine pressure and force them to handball their way out of trouble. A staple of every session so far has been the transition drill from the back pocket—moving the ball at pace with a combination of quick hands and direct kicking back through the corridor. Execution is improving noticeably. There’s a clear intent to move the ball fast and with urgency. We also ran a full-ground drill where players draw the man on the mark before playing on quickly by foot. Last year, we too often stopped and propped; this drill is all about preventing the opposition defence from setting up by keeping momentum and moving the ball before they can react. Kayle Gerreyn really impressed me today. He’s moving extremely well thanks to a strong fitness base, and his footy IQ and execution are both excellent. Throughout most drills, coaches consistently reinforced: “No more than two seconds with ball in hand.” It highlights the focus being placed on fast, direct, and accurate ball movement. #GoDons ❤️🖤👊
