An AI-robots.txt standard could solve this: open training by default, licensing required for commercial content. AI Rights Marketplaces could make it scalable: creators opt in, developers get clean access, royalties flow automatically.

We're an AI licensing company, but we don't think everything online needs a license. Most web content should be fair game for AI training, but there's a line. When AI companies train on content that people normally pay for like books, journalism, and music, without paying creators, that's lost income.
