AI skills are the killer feature but they can only be as useful as the underlying framework/tooling. So I spent the last week patching the framework, next week we are teaching the AI to write excellent code.

The ecosystem spawned so many updates that even I couldn't keep up with my usual content flow. I had to pause, gather my thoughts, fact check, research and that's literally made me invincible on socials till now haha. Every day I come online it's a new improvement, a new integration. Really commendable I tell you. By now I believe @MultiversX's recent updates around AI are no news to you? But as a builder or user you might see these announcements and wonder what exactly they mean for you or how they become beneficial. Well stay with me, by the end of this even your 3 year old cousin should understand what's happening here. Here's the thing, infrastructure doesn't look appealing until you need it. When you're building, you don't give much thought to plumbing until there's an issue with the pipes. Right now, AI agents are fixing the ‘pipes’ trying to transact, trying to pay for services, trying to operate commercially. AI agents have moved from experimental projects to actual economic participants operating in production. They're scheduling travel, managing invoices, inventory, payments, and coordinating workflows with little to no human involvement. Most blockchain systems and payment protocols were designed around interactive users, manual approvals, and occasional transactions, but now agent-driven systems operate continuously and automatically, across multiple environments and most chains aren't built for this. MultiversX just became the first blockchain to put all the pieces in place. So now what happens when these AI agents actually need to do commerce in real time, like what I listed above, not just holding tokens, I'm talking about discovering what's available to buy, negotiating the terms, executing purchase and even settling the payments all through programming. First of all this is where MCP comes in Model Context Protocol, this was available in MultiversX since last year. As a builder, think of MCP as giving your AI agent a structured handbook to blockchain operations. The agent knows exactly what it can do and how to do it. MultiversX built an MCP server that works with Claude, Cursor, any MCP-compatible environment. Your agent can now interact with the blockchain like it's reading a manual, not improvising. But knowing how to transact isn't enough if you can't complete the purchase flow. That's where UCP and ACP step in. Google launched a protocol called UCP Universal Commerce Protocol back in January at the National Retail Federation conference. It's basically the standard for how AI agents should be able to shop. MultiversX became the first Layer 1 blockchain to integrate this natively. What that means? Well, agents can discover products, handle checkout, complete purchases, all on-chain. No need to "connect your dash wallet" typical step. The transaction happens right where the conversation is. Then there's the protocol OpenAI and Stripe built together called ACP, the Agent Commerce Protocol. This handles the actual checkouts. When an agent helps someone buy something, ACP is what makes that transaction happen inside the chat. MultiversX supports this through an open-source adapter, so any AI that speaks ACP can now transact on MultiversX. The merchant stays in control, the user authorizes once, and the agent handles execution. And what about payments you might ask? Stay with me now. Coinbase developed x402, a protocol that lets machines pay for things through programming. It's built on HTTP 402, literally the "Payment Required" status code that's been sitting unused in web standards forever. This means an AI agent can pay for API access, premium data, compute resources, whatever it needs, and the payment happens as part of the request itself. No need for account creation or subscription management. Just transact. But there's a problem most chains haven't solved. Agents need gas tokens to make transactions, but they need to make transactions to get gas tokens. Classic catch-22...⤵️

....MultiversX solved this with Relayed v3. It's protocol-level functionality, not some workaround or subsidy program. Any transaction can be gasless. A relayer covers the cost. Your agent can operate without holding EGLD at all. The circular dependency just disappears. The final piece is speed. Supernova is coming Q1 2026 currently in voting. This drops block times from 6 seconds to 600 milliseconds. In testing they hit 88 millisecond finalization and real world target is under 300ms. Why does this matter? When agents are making decisions at machine speed, waiting even 6 seconds breaks the flow. Sub-second finality means the entire workflow, discover, negotiate, pay, settle happens faster than you can blink. So in essence MultiversX didn't just integrate all these updates as ‘AI’ buzzwords in a landing page. They implemented the actual protocol integrations needed for agentic commerce/actions Knowledge flows through MCP. Discovery happens via UCP. Checkout flows through ACP. Payments settle with x402. Gas gets handled by Relayed v3. And when Supernova goes live, everything from discovery to settlement completes in under a second. For builders, this removes the integration nightmare. You're not stitching together five different protocols and hoping they play nice. The infrastructure is there. Your AI agent can pay for data, execute follow-up transactions, complete purchases all without gas dependencies, all without the user leaving the interface they're already in. The agent economy isn't coming. It's here, moving to production right now. And the chains that capture this will be the ones where the infrastructure works at the speeds and costs that machines demand. MultiversX just put that infrastructure in place. First blockchain to do it end-to-end. Welcome to commerce at machine speed. #BuildInPublic #MultiversX

I love @EAPESCLUB for the art, community, and the vibe. This Ape comes across like a mysterious Valentine Casanova with a dark-romance vibe. He’s styled in deep shadow with a sleek, almost tactical black outfit, giving him that “quiet, confident presence” — like someone who doesn’t need to try hard to get attention. The neon pink heart-shaped glasses glow like love-struck eyes, signaling charm, flirtation, and Valentine energy. Instead of looking goofy or playful, the glow against the dark background makes it feel more seductive and intentional. The red rose in the mouth is classic Casanova symbolism — smooth, bold, and a little dramatic. It suggests confidence, romance, and someone who knows exactly how to make an entrance. The contrast of the bright rose and neon hearts against the blacked-out, almost secretive setting makes him feel like a lover who moves in the shadows. @creativEllah what do think of my Valentine Ape? Is he not the perfect eye candy for the occasion? 😎

I've been going through recently released @MultiversX repos and some of the sovereign chain implementations. Most have their setup instructions in place, commands documented, the technical pieces covered. Then I got to the Sovereign Chain SDK and wanted to understand what it actually does, like what problem it solves that building on mainnet doesn't. Sovereign Chains are essentially custom blockchains that operate independently but stay connected to MultiversX. It's like having your own highway that still connects to the main interstate, you control the rules on your road (transaction fees, governance, privacy settings) but you can still access everywhere else the main network goes. They can process up to 77,000 transactions per second and bridge flawlessly to other ecosystems like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana without the usual bridge vulnerabilities. What makes them different from just building on the mainnet is control. You get to set your own rules, projects get custom economic models, you can even run tokenless if you want. Privacy controls let you go public, private, or hybrid depending on what you're building. You get dedicated throughput so your traffic doesn't compete with everyone else's. And direct cross-chain communication means no wrapped tokens, no bridge risks. Projects like Pi Squared, CyberNetwork, and Onefinity are building on this because it solves specific problems. Gaming projects need high-speed, low-cost transactions without users thinking about gas fees. Institutional applications need privacy and compliance controls that public chains can't offer. DeFi primitives want custom economic rules without being constrained by mainnet tokenomics. For builders, this is great because you get the infrastructure and security of MultiversX with the flexibility of your own chain. Your users don't need to understand they're on a sovereign chain, the experience is flawless enough. Going further into the documentation though... it got a little sparse 😅. The official docs are honest about it, the current documentation is not complete and more content will be added (can't wait!)... which is fair for v0.5.0. But developers are already building on this right now, though the gap between "here's how to run the setup commands" and "here's what you're building and why you should build on this” still exists. Even the best developers need context. You can follow instructions and deploy something successfully without really understanding what you deployed or why it works that way. The key to actually seeing something and acting on it confidently is understanding what's happening, why it's happening and how it benefits you as a dev, builder, user and the ecosystem at large. And if you haven't started, Check out the official repo now. Thinking about making a full breakdown, for devs building on this what would be most useful? 🔥 #MultiiversX

Lol I promise I'm real 😂 I didn't audit each project individually, just went off the official MultiversX announcements from when Sovereign Chains launched. Pi Squared, CyberNetwork, and Onefinity were all listed on the official page and in multiple press releases. If CyberNetwork has gone quiet since then, that's fair to point out but they were definitely announced as one of the launch partners. Things change in crypto, projects pivot or stall. My point still stands though it's still an early infrastructure. If there are other projects actively building on sovereign chains, I'd love to hear about them. Trying to document what's I'm learning here, not write a dissertation 🤷‍♀️ So are you building something yourself or just keeping tabs?

Hey!👋 so the ones publicly building on it are Pi Squared, CyberNetwork, and Onefinity. But yeah, they're all still early, nothing's hit "runaway success" yet. The SDK is v0.5.0. It's new. Docs are incomplete. I mentioned that and the infrastructure just became available, early builders are figuring it out. So basically the tech works, but developers need complete docs, real examples beyond setup commands, and proven use cases before they commit. We're in that gap right now. Probably a breakout project will jumpstart it, one that shows what you can do with sovereign chains that you can't do on mainnet. So definitely it'll get to a point where builders will know it's an obviously better choice for their use case. What made you ask? Considering building something or just curious? Who knows you can be the one to jumpstart it, haha🔥

EGLD/MultiversX - Future of Money & Tech
@creativEllah @MultiversX @SasuRobert Thanks for your time & effort. Are you aware of any outfit(s) that own a sovereign chain & who are making a success of it? If yes, could you share who & how? Trying to understand why if it's as great as is claimed, why isn't it a runaway success already? What will jump start it?
