@ThanePrince I have not seen it. Could it be all contestants got the proving wrong? And started it too late. Prioritising the wrong things at this point in time? Surely it is time bound. And organisation is key.

Just catching up with #bakeoff and listening to Prue and Paul say to each contestant “ your dough is under proved”. Maybe the time allowed was insufficient if every dough was under proved. Why set a challenge with such a built in flaw?

Energy prices are rising and I know this is causing great concern to people across the UK. Today I and Business Secretary @KwasiKwarteng met with Northern Ireland Ministers who agreed to support the UK Government delivering £400 off energy bills to those in NI this winter.

Liz Truss has just been asked what she would do to help Hospitality and the ongoing energy bill crisis. She said she’d reduce corporation tax. Speechless. And very alarming. You only pay corporation tax on profit. It would be about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

We got an electric bill a few weeks ago for our unit in Chester. Kind of ignored it because we just assumed it was a misprint, like too many zeros or something… It’s not. Our electric bill for the quarter at our events unit is 26 thousand pounds.
