@creusseverus Did I say somewhere that they are good ideas?
I specifically wrote that I don’t understand why the money is still in this vault.
Do you have any other ideas why people are staying in this vault?
Please read before commenting TWICE.
English

HLP’s annualized yield has dropped from 7.92% last summer to 2.00% over the past 30 days.
So why are people still parked in it?
The vault has lost 36.4% of its TVL over the last 90 days. Fees collapsed alongside it.
A few reasons I can think of:
1. It’s a volatility bet.
2. It’s a Hyperliquid ecosystem bet.
3. It can be leveraged through HyperEVM
And it goes beyond HLP. SOFR pays 3.63% right now. Plenty of DeFi capital sits below that.
What am I missing?
English

@sunboud0 1. lmao, gl with the airdrop for holding some money in hlp, u'll get a 1% apr from the AiRdRoP
2. you wrote LEVERAGE of hlp not using it as collateral
73% of hlp holders are net positive is a very funny take bro.
if you want to leverage hlp to be long volatility that is v fun
English

1. season 2 airdrop
2. hlp as collateral to loop hlp or another asset, plus hlp yield is not constant. Leverage could be negative for some time and positive in the long run. 73% of hlp holders are net positive.
Also, I am stating in the tweet that I don’t understand why there is still that much money. These are the reasons that come to my mind.
Plus, don’t try to act smart and say something that stupid.

oh @CapApp points program is only going to give out the full airdrop to YT holders because "we have to make YT holders whole"?
x.com/caplabslimited…
let's see who is their largest YT buyer.. ah its 0x23d0f8944468F79FB06850c136a0E6B3Ee4a450F! 19m YTs bought over 21-28 dec
which turns out to be "@QiDaoProtocol Working capital account 2" aka founder @Benjamin918_
this is pathetic, you have got to cover your tracks much more thoroughly. i am happy to offer you a lesson for $4.2m cUSD
i typically am only slightly suspicious of projects buying their YTs but basically pocketing the whole airdrop is actually a first
@apyx_fi watch and learn since you have such a massive supply of YTs
ICO committers really just put $ in the @CapApp team's hands (@Benjamin918_ and @defidave, surprised at the latter who i thought was upright, guess not)

At least mfers from stream or mainstreet had to work on creating a ponzi to scam, these curators just go like yeah well lend you 100M of depositors money , take 10% and when things go bad they just go “oopsie we didnt know”. JFC give me the 100M i lose them myself lmao.
I really think morpho/euler whatever should make this guys post collateral/equity as a junior tranche for them to be able to curate those markets, so they actually have a minimal incentive to not royally rape their LPers.

“The Nordics? Great people. Tremendous people. Very tall. Everybody talks about the Zeta Reticuli aliens, total disaster, low energy. But the Nordics? Incredible. Beautiful spacecraft. The best spacecraft. Frankly, they’ve never seen interdimensional trade deals like mine.”

To everyone so eager to cancel someone for a tattoo they got at age 22, a drunk text, a selfie they took in the middle of a mental health crisis:
Show us your laptop.
Show us your iCloud.
Open your entire digital life to your worst enemy. No context. No filter. No explanation.
You won’t.
You won’t because you know what I know. Any one of us, frozen at our worst moment, photographed in our lowest hour, looks like a monster. Looks like a stranger. Looks like someone who deserves to be cast out.
That is not who we are.
My mom and baby sister were killed in a car accident when I was just a kid. Cancer took my brother Beau, my best friend and my rock. I battled alcoholism. I battled addiction. I chose the coward’s way out more times than I can count.
For years I believed the defining chapters of my life were written by tragedy, loss, and shame.
I no longer believe that.
Pain can shape us. Loss can humble us. Failures can leave scars that never fully fade. But none of them have the authority to define us.
And it sure as hell ain’t the critic that counts.
That authority belongs to us alone-the person in the arena.
Every setback presents a choice. Play the victim, or cut the bullshit and take ownership for who we become next.
Life does not determine our character. It reveals it.
Again and again we are asked the same question. When shit happens, what next?
We are not defined by what happened to us. We are not defined by the worst photo, the worst text, the worst tattoo, the worst night. We are defined by the person we choose to become. And by the courage to choose that person, every single day.
So before you reach for the gavel - show us your laptop.
You won’t.
The whole world saw mine. And I am still here. Still becoming. Still choosing. Still standing.
That is the only definition that matters.
