Whenever I post that I’d like the FSD I purchased back in 2019 to work on my Tesla as advertised, I always get this type of silly comment as if Apple told you to buy iOS 7 saying it would run Apple Intelligence on it. When I share how stupid that analogy is, people get defensive. 😂

FSD diary 2022 MYP Ryzen 12.6.3. West Coast Canada. SW: 2026.8 Since sw2026.8, hw3 fsd v12 definitely drives better. There is this one destination before it would consistently end on the wrong side of the destination and since 2026.8, it would actually pull into the curb entry of the destination. 2026.8 fsd v12 can also directly move from a “shift” into D in the first instance. Tesla indeed made hidden updates behind hw3 fsd v12.6.4!

@teslascope @greentheonly (HW3) looks like 2026.8.3 update switched the trip weights in service to bytes instead of showing 1.15gb it’s almost the same, but wanted to point out that difference. Shows they are doing something with it. 2026.8 had no change, so this is new with .3

@PollsTesla @JCOviedo6 @JonBryant421 Anyone that bought a Tesla is automatically forced into arbitration, so no class action lawsuit unless you know you were suppose to opt out. This makes it very unlikely they would get sue hard.

after this, I will shut up. just please: put yourself in the shoes of a customer that: - bought Model S/X in 2022/2023 (~$140k for a Plaid), or even 3/Y at ~$60-75k - paid an additional $15k for FSD (12 ½ years worth of subscription at current pricing) - doesn't have access to latest FSD versions because HW3 (missed cutoff point by a few months) - can't justify upgrading to HW4 because they’re deeply underwater on their current car - see $15k FSD purchase option drop by nearly half, even though Tesla said it was only going to get more expensive - see a great deal on a Cybertruck with "Free FSD Transfer for loyal customers!" advertised right below the Order button. press "Order." - aren’t chronically online, so miss Tesla quietly changing the terms retroactively - show up (or are about to show up) for delivery in June only to be told “sorry, we’re not honoring that” - then went online to figure out what happened… and got hit with “stop wanting things for free!” these customers exist, and will never buy another Tesla again.

@ZacksJerryRig @BeardedTesla Nobody forced HW3 buyers to buy at that time? Do they not know how hardware works. It always gets better. I waited till 2024 to buy first Tesla. I wanted one years earlier but i knew they were improving rapidly so i waited for a better product.

Tesla Bait and Switch FSD transfer on existing orders was the wrong move. They need to honor their program at time of order. We know how this ends though 😔
