@rodgers_adai Kenya is a middle income country. TZ is a low income. KE borrow at a high interest rate than TZ. Comparing KE to TZ is like wondering why rent in Kisumu is higher than Siaya.

I stated that Tanzania is wealthier, has better planning compared to Kenya. Round II. In fact second only to Egypt in Africa.
Tanzania is constructing 2500km of SGR and financing 60% from Exchequer. About US$ 5B and borrowing only US$2B.
Kenyan SGR is only 600km so far and it is borrowing 100%.
Kenya can't do 200km of a mere Bitumen Road Limuru Mau Summit and has to resort to a PPP which is a very expensive Loan???
Tanzania has just completed Julius Nyerere 2115MW HPP at a cost of US$ 2.9 Billion from Exchequer and has paid 100% No loan.
Kenya doesn't have money for for a much smaller Grand Falls 1000 MW.
Kenya's Debt is KShs 13 Trillion. Tanzania is 50% of that figure.
In fact which is the biggest Project Kenya has financed from its own resources the last 20 years?
I can't think of any.
Forget the cooked GDP figures that Kenya is the biggest Economy.

Edwin Sifuna: You heard Kipchumba Murkomen saying that we, as political leaders, are under 24-hour surveillance. So he must also see me receiving money from Uhuru Kenyatta. Why can’t he show the country evidence of Sifuna and Uhuru exchanging money? I will show you how our movement has been funded. We have a paybill on our website called Linda Mwananchi. Watu wamejitolea. On average, our budget for Kisumu was Sh3 million. Do I really need Uhuru to give me Sh3 million?

@MrKipkalya @RadioJamboKenya Why are you guys complaining the cancellation has no effect, ...whats the fuse with this kwani ni yeye ndiye alikuwa anataka interview ama ni Radio jambo?
English

Radio Jambo @RadioJamboKenya has cancelled Senator Sifuna's appearance tomorrow morning on Kiti na Coast Asupuhi. Surprisingly, media stations tend to cancel "unwanted" guests after begging them to appear on their shows for ages.
The cancellation really has no effect, because the Senator will just pop up on another media show and say the same thing he says every day: that the country can not afford another five years of the Ruto misadventure.
But what are Radio Jambo bosses afraid of?
We can offer a guess or two. Radio Jambo is the most beloved non-Luhya station by the Luhya community. In fact, for all intents and purposes, Kiti na Coast Asupuhi is practically a Luhya show. Patanisho is the national carrier of Luhya marital problems, ilmrati wamepata retio ya kuongea.
Someone must have decided that they wouldn't let the country's favourite Luhya to be heard roaring revolutionary facts by the Mulembe Nation, the country's biggest tribe away from fake national census.
The other guess could be that there must be a hand in the ownership that points to a place where power lives. But that hand will lose credibility and listnership if it wants to hear only friendly conversations. There must be a problem if you thrive on the patronage of a certain demographic but can't let its leader speak.
It is 2026. Calling media stations to remove a guest is so 1925. This is what they quietly did on Ramogi TV too. A prominent Linda Mwana guest was asked to stop coming.
When it comes to rising fuel prices, we are asked to think like England, South Africa and Germany. But when it comes to media freedoms, we are squeezed into the rat hole that already has Somalia, Mali and Chad.
On the matter of the People versus Radio Jambo 2026, the jury is asked to pronounce a harsh punishment that will act as a deterrent to future Radio Jambos.
All rise....

The enemy is attacking our infrastructure and putting us under siege so that people become dissatisfied.
We currently do not need the people's sacrifice, but we request that people reduce electricity and energy consumption.
